Seven Year Tribulation Just Over the Horizon - By Pastor Mike Taylor - https://pastormiketaylor.blogspot.com/2022/10/seven-year-tribulation-just-over-horizon.html   7 “But when you hear of wars and rumors of wars, do not be troubled; for such things must happen, but the end is not yet.  8 For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. And there will be earthquakes in various places, and there will be famines and troubles. These are the beginnings of sorrows. 9 “But watch out for yourselves, for they will deliver you up to councils, and you will be beaten in the synagogues. You will be brought before rulers and kings for My sake, for a testimony to them.” .. (Mark 13:7-9)   There have been many prophecy teachers that have tried to explain what the coming Tribulation will be like. Many believe that we are in the tribulation right now. Surely with all the Christian persecution, the Middle East murders of the followers of Jesus Christ, the beheadings, the crucifixions, and the systematic purging of anything that looks like an aberration from what is defined as radical Islam and victims of Communist countries, this must be the start of the tribulation. But they fail to understand what Jesus tried to convey when he spoke with the apostles 2000 years ago what this time period will be like.   I'm going to take a stab at trying to paint a picture for you of what the 7 years known as the Tribulation will be like, from scripture that describes a period so horrible, so demonically inspired that it will be the worst time in all of mankind's history that Jesus said in Matthew 24 in the Olivet Discourse:   21 “For then there will be great tribulation, such as has not been since the beginning of the world until this time, no, nor ever shall be.  22 And unless those days were shortened, no flesh would be saved; but for the elect’s sake those days will be shortened.”(Matthew 24:21-22)   Men and women of our world fail to differentiate between tribulation that has always been brought against mankind for the belief in the Gospel of Jesus Christ down through the last 2000 years, and the Tribulation that Jesus speaks of. There has always been death and destruction by evil men that Satan has inspired to persecute the church of Jesus Christ. We have read of these crucifixions, beheadings, and people being burned alive at the stake by the “dark age” religious authorities, and pagan nations that condemned Christianity as an affront to their dictatorship.   Much of the confusion about the Rapture of Christ’s Church, His Bride, and when it occurs could easily be solved if we clarify what actually happens during this seven-year period. It is not just tribulation as the church has experienced during the past 2,000 years. Saints have been martyred by the thousands, sawn asunder, fed to the lions, had their own children slaughtered before their eyes, and suffered untold deprivations. But what is coming upon the earth in possibly a few short years, or even sooner, will pale the time past of the evils of men killing other men. In short, it will be a thousands of times worse. The coming destruction of mankind will be the Middle East we are seeing right now on steroids. To think that the “Tribulation” is just more of the same type of martyrdom we have seen in the past, is to miss the point of what Jesus was talking about and what scripture testifies that this time will be about. I can't fully comprehend or grasp (and I don't want to, because you would have to live it) what will be evident during this terrible time of man's last gasp of trying to rule himself and failing miserably. Let us make a short list of reasons that could possibly be coming soon to a community near you, worldwide. When Satan is allowed to rule over this earth, even for this short period, the dwellers on this earth can expect the following:   1. The number one reason, is that Satan will be cast down to earth and will be physically and paranormally here for the duration of the 7 years we know as the Tribulation.    12 “Therefore rejoice, O heavens, and you who dwell in them! Woe to the inhabitants of the earth and the sea! For the devil has come down to you, having great wrath, because he knows that he has a short time.” (Revelation 12:12)   Satan has hated the Jewish people, as through them came Jesus Christ, and for the last 2000 years, he has raged against the Christian Bride of Christ. He has beaten up and ravaged the people of God, both Jew and Christian with a diabolically hatred that has only grown stronger as the end grows ever closer. But the last 7 years, when Satan is cast down, his rage will be unrestrained and frantic as he knows his time is very short. The Holy Spirit will be drawn back to allow him full sway over rebellious mankind and to attempt to destroy all human beings on earth.   2. Coupled with Satan being thrown down, he will have at his disposal the ability to lead billions of demons forces to torment men upon the earth. 3. as briefly mentioned in the first point, the Holy Spirit will step aside to allow Satan full sway in the destruction of mankind.    7 “For the mystery of lawlessness is already at work; only He who now restrains will do so until He is taken out of the way.  8 And then the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord will consume with the breath of His mouth and destroy with the brightness of His coming. \ 9 The coming of the lawless one is according to the working of Satan, with all power, signs, and lying wonders,   10 and with all unrighteous deception among those who perish, because they did not receive the love of the truth, that they might be saved.” (2nd Thessalonians 2:7-10)   4. Demonic forces will be allowed to take on grotesque shapes and forms and present themselves to torment and destroy sinful men. I envision the return of the Nephilim, a hybrid of half man, half demon that in Noah's days were giants that enslaved and cannibalized other men. 5. Disease and plagues will be mutated into dark forms and there will be no cure for these diseases unleashed on the unsuspecting earth dwellers. 6. Churches will not exist and it will be suicide to meet with anyone to worship the True God of Heaven, as new converts to Christ will be hunted down for extinction. 7. Anyone taking the Mark of the Beast will take on Satan's nature and will be the enemy of all who accept Jesus Christ during this time, and will cause many to be killed, even their own family members. 8. Those who refuse to take the Mark of the Beast will be brutalized, raped, tortured and possibly cannibalized after their death. 9. It will possibly be illegal for men and women to marry, as homosexuality will be worldwide, and the family outlawed.  10. With all the disease and plagues being rampant, hospitals and clinics will be extinct, or overrun with cases, and unable to meet the demand. 11. Famine and starvation will be universal. No one will be exempt. 12. The earth will become a God forsaken hellish place to live and to die upon.   THE WRATH OF ALMIGHTY GOD   In past messages, I've tried to convey another aspect of this hellish time, when Satan will have unlimited access to destroy the dwellers of the earth, known as the nations. The Tribulation will be bad, so horrible beyond description, but will be even more horrifying to those who are actually alive on earth at this time. Oh, it will be so much more terrifying beyond your wildest nightmare, as a Righteous and Holy God has unleashed all the power of His might upon a rebellious mankind who have rejected Him and His payment for their sins, His only begotten Son, Jesus Christ and His atonement written in His own blood, that God's fury is unleashed full strength.    “Then the sky receded as a scroll when it is rolled up, and every mountain and island was moved out of its place.  15 And the kings of the earth, the great men, the rich men, the commanders, the mighty men, every slave and every free man, hid themselves in the caves and in the rocks of the mountains,  16 and said to the mountains and rocks, “Fall on us and hide us from the face of Him who sits on the throne and from the wrath of the Lamb! 17 For the great day of His wrath has come, and who is able to stand?” (Revelation 6:15-17)   But this is just the beginning. It gets exponentially worse as time drags on and millions will die under the wrath of God.   This period is the time of God’s wrath. The only precedents in history to this time are the worldwide flood of Noah’s generation and the destruction of the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah. Of course, this event of God’s wrath will be the ultimate judgment of wickedness and will certainly surpass those two prior events as named above. The first time, destruction was by water. This time the destruction will be by fire...Jesus made it clear in Matthew 24 that this is the finale of judgment against the vileness of human sin.    OUR GOD IS A CONSUMING FIRE   The Old Testament prophets wrote of this time period through Holy Spirit inspiration when Isaiah wrote:   27“Behold, the name of the LORD cometh from far, burning with his anger, and the burden thereof is heavy: his lips are full of indignation, and his tongue as a devouring fire:  28And his breath, as an overflowing stream, shall reach to the midst of the neck, to sift the nations with the sieve of vanity: and there shall be a bridle in the jaws of the people, causing them to err.  29Ye shall have a song, as in the night when a holy solemnity is kept; and gladness of heart, as when one goeth with a pipe to come into the mountain of the LORD, to the mighty One of Israel.  30the LORD shall cause his glorious voice to be heard, and shall shew the lighting down of his arm, with the indignation of his anger, and with the flame of a devouring fire, with scattering, and tempest, and hailstones.”(Isaiah 30:27-30).   And again Isaiah prophesied:   “Who is this that cometh from Edom, with dyed garments from Bozrah? this that is glorious in his apparel, traveling in the greatness of his strength?  I that speak in righteousness, mighty to save. Wherefore art thou red in thine apparel, and thy garments like him that for I will tread them in mine anger, and trample them in my fury; and their blood shall be sprinkled upon my garments, and I will stain all my raiment.  For the day of vengeance is in mine heart, and the year of my redeemed is come. And I looked, and there was none to help; and I wondered that there was none to uphold: therefore mine own arm brought salvation unto me; and my fury, it upheld me.  And I will tread down the people in mine anger, and make them drunk in my fury, and I will bring down their strength to the earth” treadeth in the wine fat?  I have trodden the wine press alone; and of the people there was none with me:”(Isaiah 63:1-6).   This language has no connection with the tribulation that has been present from the beginning of the Church Age, even up until now. God Almighty will tread down evil mankind, as wine is pressed in a wine vat. God will march through His creation and destroy those who have rejected His mercy and His grace and have accepted the Mark of the Beast. His judgment will be for the rejection of his perfect judicial opportunity for man's redemption and His cup of wrath will be full to the brim of His righteous indignation for their lawlessness. God will purify this earth from either end of the earth and back in man's blood. God will wipe all rebellion and sinful men from this earth leaving no one, but a remnant that He supernaturally protects from the Anti-Christ.    Many will be saved during this time, but for their belief they will be killed in many terrible ways. The death and destruction will be world wide and the only ones that will live any length of time, are the ones who take a mark of the Beast, and their life will be short lived and will be doomed for all eternity and separated into a devil's hell.    God will judge the world because they rejected His Son and His ultimate love to man. Jesus describes this judgment Himself,    “And Jesus answered and spake unto them again by parables, and said, The kingdom of heaven is like unto a certain king, which made a marriage for his son, And sent forth his servants to call them that were bidden to the wedding: and they would not come.  Again, he sent forth other servants, saying, Tell them which are bidden, Behold, I have prepared my dinner: my oxen and my fatlings are killed, and all things are ready: come unto the marriage.  But they made light of it, and went their ways, one to his farm, another to his merchandise: And the remnant took his servants, and entreated them spitefully, and slew them. But when the king heard thereof, he was wroth: and he sent forth his armies, and destroyed those murderers, and burned up their city” (Matthew 22:1-7).   If you closely read scripture that describes the scene of God's righteous indignation, then you get a glimpse of the carnage that will be on this earth, when by calculation of the billions that live on this earth right now...(estimated at over 7.7 billion people). 80% will die in 7 short years, with the majority dying in the last 3.5 years, known as the Great Tribulation. Can you even imagine of over 6 billion people dying in that short a time by untold acts of violence and environmental disasters? I can't and I don't want to, as I don't plan to be a witness to it for those years of man's complete hell on earth.    When the picture of this event Jesus called “The Great Tribulation” is understood Biblically, then it bears no resemblance to the present tribulation that all believers endure to some degree. The gas chambers of Hitler were hell on earth and snuffed out millions of lives. At least six million Christians died, along with six million Jews. But this judgment to come is not the death of men to yet be raised in resurrection to face God in judgment. This Tribulation is the wrath of God Himself to which there are no claims of higher appeal.   I can't even imagine what the Jewish people went through as they were systematically slaughtered and I hurt for them. But to have evil rampant in this world that you will live in, and have even God Himself raining judgment down on the top of your head makes your life very short and full of misery and pain. The environment will become completely toxic with rivers and streams of blood, water becoming bitter, people dying by the millions and billions until it finally takes your own life, then I hope your imaginations can grasp the hell on earth I'm describing.   GOD'S WRATH IS AGAINST UNGODLY MEN   “For we are not appointed to wrath, but to receive salvation through Jesus Christ our Lord”. (1st Thessalonians 5:9)   “Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth.” (Revelation 3:10)   To those who are Pre-Tribulation rapture deniers, I ask you to show me in your Bible where God's wrath comes against His servants who are living for Him. Save yourself some trouble, as there are none. There is no place in Scriptures that this day can be identified to affect the Godly servant of the Lord. Whenever the First Testament prophets spoke of judgment, they always showed that God provided a haven for the righteous. Isaiah spoke of “a day of indignation.” He clearly revealed the provision of the Lord for the saints,    “Thy dead men shall live, together with my dead body shall they arise. Awake and sing, ye that dwell in dust: for thy dew is as the dew of herbs, and the earth shall cast out the dead. Come, my people, enter thou into thy chambers, and shut thy doors about thee: hide thyself as it were for a little moment, until the indignation be overpast. For, behold, the LORD cometh out of his place to punish the inhabitants of the earth for their iniquity: the earth also shall disclose her blood, and shall no more cover her slain” (Isaiah 26:19-21).   Scripture after scripture in your Bible proves that God never, ever subjects His chosen servants to His righteous wrath...and I mean NEVER. Malachi made the same argument when he wrote how God provides for His own:   “Then they that feared the LORD spake often one to another: and the LORD hearkened, and heard it, and a book of remembrance was written before him for them that feared the LORD, and that thought upon his name. And they shall be mine, saith the LORD of hosts, in that day when I make up my jewels; and I will spare them, as a man spareth his own son that serveth him. Then shall ye return, and discern between the righteous and the wicked, between him that serveth God and him that serveth him not” (Malachi 3:16-18).   PRE -TRIB DENIERS   I have had individuals email me and chastise me for giving Christian's a false hope, that when the Tribulation comes, they will not be prepared. Let me explain something to those who scoff at the scriptural sound doctrine of God removing His children from this earth before the 1st seal of Revelation chapter 6 is broken and His wrath is unleashed. Let us think logically here for a moment as I give you a scenario and tell me what the answer is.    According to our Bibles, Jesus will come and the dead in Christ will rise first, at the last trump, and we who are alive and remain will join those who have been raised to join them in the clouds...right? (1st Thessalonians 4:15-17).    If this happens at the end of the Tribulation, and Jesus returns to do battle with those who are gathered in the valley of Megiddo and destroys all rebellion on this earth, and all who have taken the mark of the Beast, (as there will be no middle ground) will be destroyed, then my question that I have proposed many times is, who will go into the Millennium as mortal beings to repopulate the earth? See the problem? The answer is NO one will be left mortal...the only doctrine that makes sense of the return of Jesus Christ before the Tribulation even starts, as those who survive the Tribulation are saints that escaped the wrath of the Anti-Christ, or those God supernaturally protected in the wilderness according to Revelation chapter 12:14-17 and they may be all Jewish. Those are the ones who go into the Millennium alive and mortal to repopulate the earth. Now back to the subject at hand, the horror of the coming Tribulation.   SEVEN BOWLS OF THE WRATH OF GOD   If the scenario that I have painted for you isn't bad enough, and if you're a fence sitter and have not made a decision for Jesus Christ, as Lord and Savior, then read Revelation chapter 16 if you really want to get into a funk which describes:   Putrid sores that cover men, much like running boils or cancers. The sea is turned into blood, as that of a dead man, and everything dies. All fresh water, streams, rivers, and fountains of waters become blood. The sun becomes so hot, it scorches men with fire to burn men alive. Darkness covers the land that cause men to gnaw their tongues in distress, as the darkness must be painful. Rivers are dried up to allow the gathering of kings and men to Armageddon for man's last stand against God Almighty.  Earthquakes, hailstones of 100 # weight called a talent weight, every mountain falling down flat, and islands sunk , see verse 18-21 of Revelation:   18 “And there were voices, and thunders, and lightnings; and there was a great earthquake, such as was not since men were upon the earth, so mighty an earthquake, and so great. 19 And the great city was divided into three parts, and the cities of the nations fell: and great Babylon came in remembrance before God, to give unto her the cup of the wine of the fierceness of his wrath. 20 And every island fled away, and the mountains were not found. 21 And there fell upon men a great hail out of heaven, every stone about the weight of a talent: and men blasphemed God because of the plague of the hail; for the plague thereof was exceeding great.” (Revelation 16:18-21)   Are you starting to get the picture? This earth will literally be hell on earth, where mortal men will die by the millions daily, every day for 7 years. It will be a most ghastly and horrific time that my words cannot even begin to address in any adjectives that conveys the extreme pain and suffering that men will do to one another in their evil ways, and a Holy God who will purge this earth of every sinful, rebellious man and woman left alive on this earth. It will be near total destruction that Jesus said, if it were allowed to continue to its climax, “no flesh would be saved, but for the elect (tribulation saints) the days would be shortened”. (Matthew 24:22) God will rescue the last remaining humans alive to prevent man totally destroying the righteous remnant left.    Now some will say, “Hey, Pastor, are you trying to preach hell fire and brimstone?”...my answer is yes, to a point. The intent is to get a sane individual to weigh and think upon what I'm describing. No sane individual that values their own mortal life would want to live through what I'm describing briefly and live out its details in real time. I really do hope I scare the “living daylights out of you” or as some say tongue in cheek, “Scaring hell right out of you”, as that is what mankind left on this earth is headed for, hell on earth.    If I was living this horror that's coming, I would have prayed someone would have scared me enough for me to think on my eternal future. Are you thinking about it? What is the answer to avoid such a horrible end of one's life? It's right in front of you, if you have your bible in your lap..His name is Jesus!!   “For God so loved the world, that He gave His only Begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him, should NOT perish, but have everlasting life.    17,God sent not His Son to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be save.” (John 3:16-17)    “Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved. (his name is Jesus)(Acts 4:12,)   “Who has saved us and called us with a holy calling, not according to our works, but according to His own purpose and grace which was given to us in Christ Jesus before time began,” (2nd Timothy 1:9)   “Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned.”(Mark 16:16,)   “For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Lest any man should boast.”(Ephesians 2:8-9 )   God our Father is long suffering not willing that any should perish, but also is a Holy and just God that will repay those who have rejected His free gift given in the death and resurrection of His Son, Jesus Christ. I will close with a scripture that identifies our God who is a God of love, but a God of judgment when His righteous wrath finally is poured out on this earth..and my friend, it is soon. Paul the apostle echoes Isaiah when he spoke of God as a consuming fire:   “See that ye refuse not him that speaketh. For if they escaped not who refused him that spake on earth, much more shall not we escape, if we turn away from him that speaketh from heaven:  26: Whose voice then shook the earth: but now he hath promised, saying, Yet once more I shake not the earth only, but also heaven.  27:And this word, Yet once more, signifieth the removing of those things that are shaken, as of things that are made, that those things which cannot be shaken may remain.  28:Wherefore we receiving a kingdom which cannot be moved, let us have grace, whereby we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear:  29: For our God is a consuming Fire”( Hebrews 12: 25-29)   I pray I have shaken you, made you feel uncomfortable, and unsettled in your mind and spirit while in your refusal of the free gift of grace given by God, because my friend, the coming Tribulation will be a horror that I pray you miss out finding out about. Repent and turn to Jesus while the time and chance is available this side of the Tribulation. Jesus could come any moment and without warning.    8 "But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach; 9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. 10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. 11 For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed. 12 For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him. 13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved." 3 More Major Wars That Could Suddenly Erupt In 2023 - by Michael Snyder - http://endoftheamericandream.com/3-more-major-wars-that-could-suddenly-erupt-in-2023/   Are we going to see more war in the months ahead? Both sides just continue to escalate the conflict in Ukraine, but it may soon have to share top billing as more wars suddenly erupt around the globe. Now that it looks like Benjamin Netanyahu will be returning to power in Israel, a major confrontation with Iran is seemingly closer than ever. Meanwhile, tensions between North Korea and South Korea have risen to the highest level in my entire lifetime. Most people don’t realize this, but the North Koreans are poised to launch an invasion at all times. All they need is an opportunity, and that may come when China invades Taiwan. Chinese President Xi Jinping recently reaffirmed his commitment to “reunification” with Taiwan, and officials in the western world are warning that this could come sooner rather than later. As I detail in my brand new book entitled “End Times”, we truly are living in a time of “wars and rumors of wars”. Let us hope that the potential wars that I just listed can be delayed for as long as possible, because the death and destruction that they would cause would be off the charts.   Personally, I am so glad that Yair Lapid has been defeated and that Benjamin Netanyahu will be the next prime minister of Israel.   But without a doubt, it also brings war between Israel and Iran much closer.   For years, Netanyahu has pledged that he will never allow Iran to develop their own nuclear weapons…   “Iran has never given up its quest for nuclear weapons and the missiles to deliver them,” Netanyahu said. “I will never allow Iran to obtain the nuclear capability to carry out its genocidal goal of elminating Israel.”   Unfortunately, the IAEA says that Iran has now reached a point where they could potentially create their own nukes.   So the clock is ticking.   One way or another, war between Israel and Iran will happen. That is why any potential provocation should deeply alarm all of us. For example, the following story was in the news on Wednesday…   The United States and Saudi Arabia are on high alert after Saudi intelligence shared with the U.S. indicated that Iran is expected to carry out an attack on targets in Saudi Arabia, the Wall Street Journal reported.   Officials from both countries reportedly told the Journal about the concern over coming attacks. Saudi officials said that in addition to Saudi Arabia, Iran is also looking to strike Erbil, Iraq, where U.S. troops are located. The planned attacks are said to be intended as a distraction from protests taking place in Iran against the Islamic nation’s leadership.   In addition, the Biden administration is extremely upset that Iran has been sending highly advanced weapons to Russia. In fact, it is being reported that the Iranians are about to send the Russians a whole bunch more…   Iran is preparing to send approximately 1,000 additional weapons, including surface-to-surface short-range ballistic missiles and more attack drones, to Russia to use in its war against Ukraine, officials from a Western country that closely monitors Iran’s weapons program told CNN. While the precise timing of when the shipment will arrive in Russia is unclear, officials believe the weapons will definitely be delivered before the end of the year.   The Biden administration absolutely hates the current Iranian regime, and so do the Saudis.   When Israel and Iran finally start going at it, both the U.S. government and the Saudi government will be hoping that the Israelis score a resounding victory.   Speaking of sending weapons to Russia, the U.S. is also accusing North Korea of doing this…   The US is accusing North Korea of secretly supplying Russia with artillery shells for the Ukraine war by concealing where they are being transported to, according to newly declassified intelligence.   US officials believe that the surreptitious North Korean shipments – along with drones and other weaponry that Russia has acquired from Iran – are further evidence that even Moscow’s conventional artillery arsenals have dwindled during eight months of combat. North Korea is trying to hide the shipments by making it appear as if the ammunition is being sent to countries in the Middle East or North Africa, the intelligence says.   As more and more countries get involved, the conflict in Ukraine is truly starting to become a “world war”.   But the North Koreans aren’t going to get too involved in Ukraine, because a potential war with South Korea is looming.   For the very first time since the Korean War, a North Korean missile has flown “over the de facto inter-Korean maritime border”…   North Korea fired 25 missiles and around 100 artillery shells over the course of about 11 hours on Wednesday, the South Korean military said.   But one North Korean ballistic missile unprecedentedly flew over the de facto inter-Korean maritime border and landed in waters south of the border for the first time since the division of the Korean Peninsula.   In response, the South Korean military fired three missiles from fighter jets toward the north of the inter-Korean maritime boundary to demonstrate its precision-strike capabilities, denouncing the missile launch as a “direct and very serious provocation.”   During the Trump years, it seemed like we were making so much progress with North Korea.   But now everything has changed, and the North Koreans are openly threatening to use nuclear weapons against the United States and South Korea…   North Korea issued a veiled threat Tuesday to use nuclear weapons to get the U.S. and South Korea to “pay the most horrible price in history,” an escalation of its fiery rhetoric targeting the ongoing large-scale military drills between its rivals.   However, I do not believe that North Korea would actually make a move against South Korea unless China invaded Taiwan first.   Unfortunately, that day appears to be closer than ever.   In fact, the top officer in the U.S. Navy is warning that we are looking at “a 2022 window or potentially a 2023 window” for that to happen…   China could invade Taiwan as early as this year, speeding up naval experts’ predictions of a 2027 attack, the Navy’s top officer said Wednesday.   Chief of Naval Operations Adm. Mike Gilday said China’s 20-year track record of delivering “every promise they’ve made earlier than they said” indicated the Communist country could try to take Taiwan by force any day now.   “It’s how the Chinese behave and what they do,” Gilday said during an Atlantic Council event. “So when we talk about the 2027 window, in my mind, that has to be a 2022 window or potentially a 2023 window.”   Personally, I don’t think that an invasion will take place during the last two months of 2022.   But 2023 is another matter entirely.   Meanwhile, the war in Ukraine continues to escalate.   The Russians have been hitting Ukrainian infrastructure night after night, and at this point much of the country could be heading into winter without any power and without any running water…   Much of the Ukrainian capital of Kiev is without electricity or water, after the latest round of major Russian airstrikes on Monday. The Russian military announced ‘successful’ strikes on multiple of the country’s vital infrastructure facilities.   “The Russian Armed Forces continued to launch strikes with high-precision long-range air and sea-based weapons against Ukrainian military and energy facilities,” the Defense Ministry said. “The goals of the strikes were successful. All assigned objects were hit.” Meanwhile, Ukrainian Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal confirmed direct hits on 18 sites – most of which were connected to the nation’s energy supply. These ramped up attacks have created a growing sense of panic with temperatures plunging and winter approaching.   At the same time, western powers just continue to get even more deeply involved in the conflict.   In fact, the U.S. military is now telling us that U.S. troops are on the ground in Ukraine in a limited supporting role…   U.S. military personnel are now on the ground in Ukraine, keeping track of and inspecting weapons the U.S. has shipped to Ukrainian forces, a senior defense official announced during a Pentagon background briefing on Monday. These U.S. personnel are some of the first the Pentagon has acknowledged have entered Ukraine since Russia launched its large scale invasion of the country in February.   The senior defense official who spoke on background during an official Pentagon event, said, “U.S. personnel have recently resumed on-site inspections to assess weapon stocks in country whenever and wherever the security conditions allow.” The official said “the return of our defense attaché and Office of Defense Cooperation personnel in country has allowed us to resume this critical function.”   So the good news is that there are no U.S. military forces on the front lines yet.   But will that eventually happen?   None of us should want to see U.S. troops and Russian troops directly firing weapons at one another.   Because that would put us dangerously close to a nuclear conflict.   Unfortunately, leaders all over the world are being exceedingly reckless right now, and that should make all of us very nervous.

We’ll get to that.   What is eye-opening is the fact eight-four percent (84%) of Americans say the mainstream media is a danger to democracy, including a significant majority who believe the media’s bias and misinformation is a threat to our freedom.   A new Gallup poll also affirms just 34% of Americans overall have any trust in the mass media to report the news “fully, accurately and fairly.” The word “abysmal” comes to mind. By the way, thirty four percent is just two points higher than the all-time record low in 2016 when most media openly attacked Donald Trump while practically campaigning for Hillary Clinton.   Gallop points out:   “Notably, this is the first time that the percentage of Americans with no trust at all in the media is higher than the percentage with a great deal or a fair amount combined,”   In fact, just seven percent (7%) of Americans have “a great deal” of trust or confidence in the media. One reason for this, as the poll notes, is an increase in the percentage of Americans (73%) who see too much bias as a “major problem.”   How do the numbers look from a partisan perspective? Now here’s what is so very telling: 86 percent of Republicans view the media unfavorably – but not Democrats (only 22%). However, a whopping 70 percent of Democrats still trust the media. Stop. Shouldn’t that make honest, truth-seeking people question why this is the case?   For decades, Americans’ distrust of the media has constantly fallen along party lines. Why? I often suggest the root of the problem is the one-Party big-tech media conglomerate. Democrats own all major purveyors of information across the country, they share the same godless worldview, and they overwhelmingly donate to Democrat candidates and liberal causes.   But that’s not all.   These new poll results arrive around the exact same time another report from Newsbusters came out exposing Google for manipulating search results and burying Republican campaign sites in 83% percent of top U.S. Senate races. I am convinced the Democrat-run media influences elections. The question is, to what extent?   The study found Google is manipulating search results by burying Senate Republican candidates’ campaign websites in the weeks leading up to the 2022 Midterm elections. The study from North Carolina State University reveals that Google’s Gmail “marked 59.3 percent more emails from “right”-leaning candidates as spam compared to “left”-leaning candidates.”   Media Research Center President, Brent Bozell states:   “First, researchers caught Google red-handed by proving Republican campaign emails were sent to spam. Now we’ve uncovered Google manipulating search results to hide Republican campaign websites while promoting Democratic ones. This is all an effort by Google to help Democrats and interfere in the democratic process.”   Disturbing, yes, but not exactly a newsflash for those of us who have been paying attention.   Just two years ago in 2020, I reported on what appeared to be indisputable proof that the Democrat big tech and mainstream media helped Biden win while censoring Trump.   You may recall that President Trump was censored hundreds of times on Twitter alone and was openly hated by most media while Biden was not censored once. Not once. Here we are two years later with major Biden-family corruption going unchecked. Many Americans are still asking, ‘where’s Hunter?’ Even some on the Left don’t agree with the ongoing cover-up.   If one of Trump’s sons was involved in the slightest hint of scandal, don’t you think nearly every media outlet would be all over it? According to the MRC, Biden is and was protected and coddled, but the so-called “reporting” on Trump was almost constantly 93% negative. This should speak volumes because what we’re seeing is communist policy – in a free America!   Another point of emphasis from recent polling is that the two most important issues to voters: the economy and cost of living. What? Not nearly as concerning to most people are abortion (4%) and inequality/equity/inclusion (1%). LGBTQ ideology, green energy, climate change, college loan ‘forgiveness,’ and other agendas pushed by the Biden administration are apparently not on most people’s radar.   We’ll see next week how American citizens vote as we find out who gets elected and what party will hold majorities in the House and Senate. What we do know is the leftists in big tech, social media, and mainstream media are doing their best to control information to help Democrats. This is another reason why we need more true conservatives and people of faith must flood the polls on Tuesday and vote biblical values!   Our nation is in decline and the church must have a sense of urgency! We are in desperate need of another awakening. The great Charles G. Finney (1792-1875) once declared:   “The time has come that Christians must vote for honest men, and take consistent ground in politics or the Lord will curse them… Christians have been exceedingly guilty in this matter. But the time has come when they must act differently… God will bless or curse this nation, according to the course Christians take.”   The media thinks political division and chaos in this country helps their cause so they keep stoking the flames. Let’s prove them wrong, and may God save America.

What Can I Do? - Nathele Graham - twotug@embarqmail.com   “But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ ied for us.” Romans 5:8.   Jesus gave us a gift that is uniquely from Him. He gave us life in this world, and by faith in Him, eternal life. “All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. In him was life; and the life was the light of men.” John 1:3-4. The gift is free, but must be accepted. It cost Jesus more than our human minds can comprehend, but His love for His creation is so perfect and deep that He freely shed His blood for our salvation. Can you think of anybody you would voluntarily die for? Maybe your child or your spouse, but would you shed your blood to save the life of a total stranger? Probably not. Jesus did more than just shed His blood. He left the glory and splendor of Heaven and He left the worship of the Heavenly Host, “And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.” John 1:14. He left the pure love of His Father, to step into His creation. He knew He would be ridiculed, mocked, beaten, spit upon, and crucified. Still, He chose to put up with all of that in order to save you and me from eternal damnation. Mankind had been separated from God ever since Adam sinned. Jesus willingly paid the price for our salvation. Because of His love, because of His sacrifice, you and I have the promise of eternal life with Him in Heaven if we sincerely place our faith in Him. If you’ve earnestly accepted Christ’s death, burial, and resurrection as the atonement for the sin of your life, then you need to say thank You. You need to let Him change your life from a self-centered life filled with sin, to a life of unselfishness, reflecting God’s love. You need to let Him know that you understand what He did for you, by living for Him.   It seems that many people know exactly what to do in order to serve Christ. Many sports figures openly give God the glory for their talent and ability to excel in their chosen sport. Some actors use their talents to glorify God. Starting with the Apostles, we can see how walking with Jesus changed the world. Peter often comes to mind when we think of someone who was changed from an outspoken man who was rash in his actions. It’s been said that Peter only opened his mouth to change feet. He was a fisherman, and had no training in eloquent speech. He more than likely was prone to using “colorful” language when he was around his fishing buddies. Jesus saw past all of the rough edges of his character, and saw a man who would be a leader in the Church. Not a Pope, but a Christian leader who followed what he learned from walking with Christ. Peter was married, but was able to do the tasks which Jesus put in front of him because he was married to a woman who was also a believer, as were other apostles. “Have we not power to lead about a sister, a wife, as wells as other apostles, and as the brethren of the Lord, and Cephas?” 1 Corinthians 9:5. Paul is another example of a man who gave his life to Christ and served our Lord well. After Paul’s conversion on the road to Damascus, he spent many years waiting and wondering what he could do for Jesus. Then, one day the time was right for his mission trips to spread the Gospel. During the time he waited, Paul learned more about Jesus. By the time he set out on his missionary trips, he knew exactly what Jesus wanted him to do. Matthew was a tax collector, a sinful profession, but Jesus called him and changed him. Matthew was one of the original disciples. John and James had an interesting nickname from Jesus. “And James the son of Zebedee, and John the brother of James; and he surnamed them Boanerges, which is, The sons of thunder.” Mark 3:17. We can only imagine why Jesus called them the sons of thunder. Maybe because they wanted to call fire from Heaven on people who stood in their way. Walking with Jesus changed them. In more modern times, we all know of people who seem to know what to do to serve the Lord and know how to say “thank You” to Him. What about me? What can I do? What about you?   When I think of Jesus and what He did for me, I try to think how to repay Him. What can I do? I’m just a human with a sin nature. I can’t do great and mighty works for Jesus in order to say thanks. Most Christians have, at one time or another, asked themselves that question. What can I do to thank Him for salvation? How do I know what my gift(s) is/are? Most of us don’t have any great revelation from God telling us what He wants for us to do. We need to pray for God’s guidance. Then, start doing just doing something. First, get closer to Christ. How does that happen? Talk to Him and listen for His side of the conversation. Figure out what you enjoy doing. As long as what you enjoy is acceptable in the eyes of God, use it to glorify Him. When trying to hear God’s voice leading you in how to serve, be sure to make friends with solid Christians and fellowship with them. “Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.” Hebrew 10:25. When we have Christian friends, it’s easier to see the things of the Lord rather than seeing the ways of the world. Secular friends see worldly gain and ways as the ultimate purpose in life. However, true Christians have their minds and hearts turned to serving Christ. We are to exhort each other, so if you see a strength in a friend, encourage them to use that strength to serve the Lord. Do you know someone who is able to discern God’s truth? Maybe they should share their knowledge with others. Maybe you are able to teach. By spending time with strong Christians, you will be encouraged to teach a class or two. You might have to step out of your comfort zone, but if it’s what God has planned for you, it will work out.   There are many things we can do for Jesus, but they don’t all seem as if they are important. Living as an example of Jesus’ love so the world can see is something every Christian can do. “For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.” Romans 1:16. That is something you can do for Jesus no matter what. Don’t be ashamed of Him and live openly as a follower of Christ. When you put Jesus first in your life, you will thank Him by living for Him. Study Scripture to learn His ways. Jesus forgave people. “Then came Peter to him, and said, Lord, how oft shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? Till seven times? Jesus saith unto him, I say not unto thee, Until seven times: but, Until seventy times seven.” Matthew 18:21-22. Forgiving others is a way to imitate Jesus. Our sin against God was fatal. Our choice to sin sends us to Hell. No matter what others do to us, it doesn’t compare to our sin against God. “If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” 1 John 1:9. Our sins are forgiven through Christ. Since He forgives us, we need to forgive others. We can do that in order to show our thankfulness to Jesus.    Jesus commands us to love one another. You can do that. “This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you. Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends. Ye are my friends, if ye do whatsoever I command you.” John 15:12-14. It isn’t always easy to love others, but love is what Jesus commands us to do. When you ask “What can I do?”, try showing love to others. Jesus spoke those words to His disciples, not long before He was arrested. If you call Jesus your friend, then follow His commandment and love one another. Something else we all can do to show our gratitude is to live for Him, by sacrificing our selfish desires and serving Him with joy. “I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.” Romans 12:1. Set selfish desires aside and die to self. Think of others, show God’s love and forgiveness. Jesus loves you; do you love Him?   It isn’t always easy to live life as Jesus wants us to live, but we need to try. Sometimes a job can make living for Jesus hard. Earning your living is an important part of a Christian’s life, but the job may be filled with challenges to our faith. That’s one reason we need to choose Christian friends and support each other when the world seems to beat us up. The early Christians faced much persecution, but they drew closer to each other and Christianity flourished. “And they, continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, did eat their meat with gladness and singleness of heart,” Acts 2:46. That’s something you can do for Christ…fellowship with brothers and sisters who love our Lord, and encourage them in their walk.   When you ask “What can I do?”, look into Scripture and see what the great men and women who loved the Lord did. The Old Testament records many accounts of people who did what they could for God. The New Testament records the life of Jesus and His example to us. It also records what people just like you and I did to serve Him. None of the things we can do are works in order to obtain salvation, but works of love to show our gratitude. Daily Jot: Hold hospitals accountable - Bill Wilson – www.dailyjot.com   Truth For Health Foundation (TFHF) has launched a nationwide campaign to hold hospitals accountable for wrongful deaths caused by the deliberate and willful blocking of access to effective safe treatments. TFHF says hospitals used the guise of government “COVID covered counter measures” that incentivize hospitals to use lethal doses of meds and withhold food, fluids, and other critical customary medications. As of October 25, 2022, Johns Hopkins University CSSE COVID-19 data shows over 1.1 million COVID-19 patients have died in US hospitals under these practices. These preventable deaths are still continuing daily. TFHF is bringing together attorneys, health professionals and citizens to stop these atrocities.   In announcing the accountability campaign, Truth for Health Foundation President and CEO Dr. Elizabeth Lee Vliet, MD, said, “This is a call to action to stop the white coat killers and hold them accountable. If you have a loved one who died in the hospital after receiving government-mandated COVID treatments or who were refused their patient rights, or were knowingly euthanized, there are actions you can file to hold that hospital accountable.” Vliet and her organization have been involved in several hospital “rescues” of such patients throughout the COVID pandemic. In a Tuesday news conference, the TFHF legal and medical team revealed shocking details from families who lost loved ones to hospital death protocols.   The Foundation is providing video and written guides and legal tools for families to take action without having to hire an attorney. These include directions on specific regulatory complaints, pro se litigation, and other grassroots action steps to empower citizens who have lost loved ones. TFHF says whistleblowers have provided documentation of widespread hospital policies for administration of euthanizing doses of deadly combinations of sedatives, narcotics such as morphine and fentanyl, with benzodiazepines. TFHF says hospitals are also coercing use of toxic drugs like Remdesivir (54% death rate in clinical trials) as well as intentionally administering these drugs without patient consent or even over written objections from patients and families.   An attorney working in collaboration with TFHF, Dan Watkins, has filed lawsuits in FL, MD, AZ, TX, KY, NV, and CA alleging that hospitals and doctors engaged in intentional torts of fraudulent concealment, battery, and elder abuse. Other alleged violations include lack of informed consent, denying patients their right to have an advocate present, denying family access to the patient, failure to follow patients’ advance directives, failure advise patients of other treatment options with lower risks than Remdesivir and/or ventilators, failure to treat other medical conditions such as diabetes or bacterial infections, institution of illegal “do not resuscitate” orders and many other unprecedented abuses. Daily Devotion: Righteousness and Mercy - by Greg Laurie – www.harvest.org    ‘Blessed are the merciful, for they shall obtain mercy.’ —Matthew 5:7   What’s your attitude toward someone who has sinned? Whether it’s someone who doesn’t know the Lord at all or a Christian who has fallen, how do you feel toward the person?   If your reaction is that you can’t believe they did what they did, and if you’ve thought, “What a loser! I thank God I would never do something like that!” then it tells me something about you.   On the other hand, if your heart is broken, if you’re concerned for the person’s situation and want to help them get back on their feet again, it tells me that you’re a godly person (see Galatians 6:1 NKJV).   A happy person will be forgiving and merciful. Jesus said in the Beatitudes, “Blessed are the merciful, for they shall obtain mercy” (Matthew 5:7 NKJV). The statements of Jesus in the Beatitudes have a specific sequence; one leads to another, which leads to another, and so on.   First, we see ourselves as we are. Then we mourn over our condition. Next, we become meek and empty ourselves, and we find a new hunger for God Himself. Then we become people of mercy. Because we have experienced mercy, we want to extend it to others.   A litmus test of our real condition before God is whether we have gone through these steps.   The more righteous someone is, the more merciful they will be. And the more sinful someone is, the harsher and more critical they will be. Show me a person who’s always condemning and nitpicking and I’ll show you a person who’s not walking closely with God.   If you’re poor in spirit, if you’ve mourned over your condition and know what it is to be meek, if you hunger and thirst for God, then you will be merciful.   And if someone isn’t merciful, the question is whether they know anything about the mercy of God themselves.
