Like Never Before - By Daymond Duck - https://www.raptureready.com/2022/08/20/like-never-before-by-daymond-duck/   As I understand it, Jesus taught that there will be a generation that sees all the signs beginning to come to pass (Luke 21:28).   He was saying the generation that sees everything shaping up is to know that their redemption (deliverance; the completion of God’s plan) is drawing near.   Many prophecy teachers agree that the terminal generation signs are appearing like never before.   The following reports appear to back that up.   As you read these reports, realize that:   Never before have I heard of the IRS advertising for armed agents that are willing to kill U.S. citizens. Never before has America had the depth of government corruption we appear to have today. Never before has the FBI raided a former president’s home. Never before have I heard of nations forcing farmers to use less fertilizer and grow less cattle during food shortages. Never before have I heard of a global leader calling people useless without criticism. Never before have I heard of school textbooks telling children to eat bugs and weeds. Never before have globalists said people will own nothing and be happy. Never before have I heard of schools telling students it is bad to call America a nation under God.  The reprobate minds that are promoting the globalist agenda are taking the world toward prophetic fulfillment and a time of tribulation like never before.   One, last week, I wrote that on Aug. 7, 2022, the U.S. Senate passed the $739 billion deceptively named “Inflation Reduction Act” (the Congressional Budget Office, hundreds of economists, a few Democrats, and every Republican says it will not reduce inflation).   The bill:   Contains no money for more troops to defend America. Contains no money for more police to make America’s cities safer. Contains no money to make America’s borders more secure. Funds about 87,000 new IRS agents to track American citizens’ buying and selling. This week, I want to add to that:   Four days later, on Aug. 11, 2022, the IRS posted a help wanted ad on USAjobs.gov.   Several things are causing concern about the IRS hiring 87,000 more agents.   One of the agents’ duties listed in the IRS help wanted ad is to “Carry a firearm and be willing to use deadly force, if necessary.” Another duty is, “Be willing and able to participate in arrests, execution of search warrants, and other dangerous assignments.” In recent months, the IRS has bought several million rounds of ammunition for pistols, shotguns, and AR-15 rifles. Many government officials support the World Economic Forum (WEF) that says, “You will own nothing and be happy.” They want the government to own everything before 2030. Many government officials want to disarm America’s citizens. About 30 armed FBI agents recently raided former Pres. Trump’s home.   The concern is that the IRS is seeking to hire thousands of agents that will be heavily armed and willing to kill U.S. citizens; at the same time, some government officials want to disarm U.S. citizens; and the U.S. is supporting a group (the WEF) that wants to confiscate everyone’s property.   Is the government afraid U.S. citizens might fight to keep their homes, farms, and other possessions?   (Update: On Aug. 13, 2022, it was reported that the IRS had just deleted the help wanted ad seeking people to “carry a firearm and be willing to use deadly force, if necessary.” I could have deleted the above but think voters need to know that the IRS wanted to hire people that would be willing to kill citizens.)   Two, concerning corruption: on Aug. 11, 2022, it was reported that Sen. Ron Johnson said, “We have a corrupt medical system in this country. From the pharmaceutical companies, down to the federal health agencies through to the research agencies and the medical journals.”   The corruption is in several layers of our government, and that is very troubling.   The Presidency of the U.S. The Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) The National Institutes of Health (NIH) The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) The Department of Justice (DOJ) The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) The Internal Revenue Service (IRS)   It is easy to believe that the U.S. government will support the coming deceitful New World Order.   (More: On Aug. 12, 2022, Dave Hodges said it like this on The Common Sense Show: “The enemy is not at the gate. The enemy is inside the gate.)   Three, concerning corruption: on Aug. 12, 2022, William Koenig reported in Koenig’s Eye View that some people believe Pres. Trump has documents that suggest the involvement of high-level FBI and DOJ officials in the Russian collusion hoax and other schemes.   There is some speculation that the high-level FBI and DOJ officials sent the FBI agents to Mar-a-Lago to find and seize the evidence Trump has.   A few Republicans are seeking whistleblowers that can confirm this, and Koenig noted that whistleblowers are coming forward.   Skeptics should recall that FBI agents have been caught lying to judges and the media about the Russian collusion hoax, and DOJ officials have falsely called parents domestic terrorists for complaining about CRT being taught in schools, etc.   (More: Speculation that this was a dirty trick to keep Trump from running for Pres. again is also rampant.)   (More: On Aug. 15, 2022, it was reported that Rep. Jim Jordan said 14 FBI Whistleblowers have visited Republican members of the House Judiciary Committee alleging misconduct by leaders of the FBI.)   Four, concerning the return of Jews to the Promised Land at the end of the age (Jer. 31:8-9): on Aug. 11, 2022, it was reported that 31,066 Jews have already returned from Russia (18,891) and Ukraine (12,175) this year.   Almost 74% of the 16 to 80-year-old Jews that have returned from Ukraine are women because fighting-age men are not allowed to leave the country while the war is raging.   This brings to mind the fact that war will cause a shortage of men during the Tribulation Period, resulting in seven women being willing to marry one man so they can have a child (Isa. 4:1).   Five, concerning food shortages and famine: on Aug. 9, 2022, it was reported that:   There are about 54,000 farms in the Netherlands. 11,200 farms (almost 21%) are being forced to shut down to meet climate change emission goals. 17,600 farms (almost 33%) are being forced to reduce the number of cattle they own to meet climate change nitrogen pollution standards.   Farmers are losing their livelihood, food shortages will increase, and past reports have said these policies are going to be forced on nations all over the world.   They are part of the “Transforming our World: the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development” goals.   (More: on Aug. 13, 2022, on The Common Sense Show, Dave Hodges said this issue of cattle polluting the air is mentioned in Biden’s “Inflation Reduction Act.” Hodges didn’t say what the bill says about it, but he did say it is in Biden’s bill, and he said food shortages are coming.).   Six, concerning food shortages and famine: on Aug. 14, 2022, it was reported that:   The Canadian government is preparing to force Canadian farmers to reduce the amount of nitrogen fertilizer they use to grow crops. Forcing farmers to use less nitrogen fertilizer will reduce the amount of food that is produced. Reducing world hunger by 2030 is a UN goal, but using less nitrogen fertilizer will increase world hunger, not reduce it.   Using less nitrogen fertilizer is also part of the “Transforming our World: the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development” goals.   (More: While the current U.S. administration is falsely claiming that the U.S. has zero inflation, the UN is warning that food prices will keep rising because the price of fertilizer will keep rising, and crop yields will decline.)   (Note: The inflation rate is still 8.5%, not zero.)   Seven, concerning a global population reduction: on Aug. 12, 2022, it was reported that Yuval Noah Harari, chief advisor to World Economic Forum (WEF) head Klaus Schwab, said that the world does not need most of its current population.   According to Harari, Artificial Intelligence (AI; Robots, etc.) is replacing people, the shift to AI is increasing, and an increasing number of people are becoming useless.   Harari and the WEF value the environment and sustainability more than they value the lives of people.   Eight, concerning America’s abandonment of God: on Aug. 12, 2022, it was reported that the Fargo, North Dakota school board has decided that it is illegal to recite the pledge of allegiance to the flag of the U.S. because it mentions God and does not “align with the districts diversity, equity and inclusion values.”   According to the school board’s vice president, “The pledge had to go because it might upset the Hindus, Muslims, and atheists.”   Nine, concerning pestilence and deceit: on Aug. 15, 2022, Jill Biden, wife of Pres. Joe Biden, tested positive for Covid even though she has been double vaccinated and had two booster shots (jabbed for Covid 4 times).   By now, everyone should know that vaccinations and booster shots do not keep people from getting Covid.   Vaccinated and boosted people may have a milder case of Covid (or they may have a dangerous or life-ending side effect from the vaccinations), but they can still get Covid.   People should be concerned that Big Pharma was donating millions of dollars to politicians and making billions of dollars off mandatory vaccinations.   Sadly, we should follow the money because there is some talk of forcing people to be vaccinated for Monkey Pox and other pandemic scare tactics.   The safety of the public should take precedent over political donations and Big Pharma profits.   Ten, concerning food shortages: on Aug. 8, 2022, it was reported that government-funded propagandists in some western nations are now using children’s books to teach children to eat insects and weeds to save the planet from natural disasters and climate change.   The report said this could be dangerous to children.   Eleven, concerning world government and a possible rise of Ten Kings: on Aug. 16, 2022, Russian Pres. Vladimir Putin said (in my words with my explanation):   The U.S. and its allies dominate the world in a unipolar fashion (America and its allies act as one power and have too much influence in the world). This unipolar dominance is doomed and will be replaced by a multipolar world (the current international order cannot stand and will be replaced by a new international order with more nations sharing the power and influence). The era of the unipolar world order is a thing of the past (A new world order and a redistribution of power has arrived.).   According to the Bible, Ten Kings (leaders, czars, etc.) are a prelude to the Antichrist, and they will surrender their power and authority to the Antichrist.   I do not know that Putin’s view of a multipolar world is Ten leaders of groups of nations, but I believe we could be seeing the beginning of that.   Finally, are you Rapture Ready?   If you want to be rapture ready and go to heaven, you must be born again (John 3:3). God loves you, and if you have not done so, sincerely admit that you are a sinner; believe that Jesus is the virgin-born, sinless Son of God who died for the sins of the world, was buried, and raised from the dead; ask Him to forgive your sins, cleanse you, come into your heart and be your Saviour; then tell someone that you have done this.   duck_daymond@yahoo.com

World Economic Forum Looks to Normalize Implanting Tracking Chips into Humans – PNW Staff - https://www.prophecynewswatch.com/article.cfm?recent_news_id=5537   The latest highly controversial technology/policy that the World Economic Forum (WEF) has set out to normalize is the idea of implanting tracking chips into humans.   It wasn't that long ago that those speculating on a future where this is happening would get dismissed as conspiracy theorists, but now the world elites' most vocal outlet is predicting that chip implants will eventually become just a commodity.   And the WEF makes a case that implanting chips into children could be viewed by parents as a "solid, rational" move. All of this crops up in a blog post on the organization's website dedicated to the future of augmented reality (AR), and what is referred to as "an augmented society."   Like in many of WEF's other takes on the future of various types of technology, the emphasis is put on inserting the "right," i.e., its own "vision" in the direction these should be developing, with the inevitable mention of undefined society stakeholders who will hold the key to the ethics issue of it all.   The WEF is talking up the allegedly broad usefulness of AR going forward in fields such as healthcare, education, and professional settings, with the underpinning notion of providing guidelines as to how to "ethically" regulate this vast potential power - and therefore, when all's said and done, control it.   The WEF calls AR and similar tech transformative - but in need of "the right support, vision, and audacity."   Once again it isn't at all clear why "audacity" is thrown in, unless it is a euphemism to sell some pretty outrageous "visions" that the WEF is expressing, such as replacing drugs with brain implants that will manipulate the body with electrical pulses, and pairing all sorts of chips put into humans through surgery, with sensors one might find in a chair.   And so, with the human and the chair "seamlessly integrated," the quality of life across the board shoots up, the Davos-based group promises.   "As scary as chip implants may sound, they form part of a natural evolution that wearables once underwent. Hearing aids or glasses no longer carry a stigma," the blog post reads. "They are accessories and are even considered a fashion item. Likewise, implants will evolve into a commodity."   But critics of these trends say their opposition has nothing to do with "stigmas" - rather with serious concerns about civil rights, privacy, and the very concept of human autonomy.   While the tracking ability is one of the features of microchip implants that is rarely talked about, many people are already on board with using microchip implants for commerce and security access.   Recently, a London-based company has developed a new contactless payment system that involves embedding a microchip into a person's hand.   Tech company Walletmor has developed a new app called Purewrist, which is a digital wallet combined with a microchip that can be installed in your hand. Once the chip is installed, a person can then use the app and chip to make payments to businesses that also use the app.   Walletmore's chip is quite light and is only a bit bigger than a grain of rice and is composed of a microchip and an antenna, which is surrounded by biopolymer. The Chief Executive Officer of the Company, Wojtek Paprota claims that it is entirely safe and also has regulatory approval.   Walletmore has priced the implant procedure at $299 and says the system can be used to make everyday, normal transactions.   The microchip does not need a battery to function nor does it need any other power source which makes it quite attractive to the users. They have sold more than 500 microchips so far.   Watch Video: https://youtu.be/aymBka2nhUo   A 2021 survey conducted in the European Union and the United Kingdom came up with the result that at least 51 per cent of people will consider having a chip implanted in their body.   On the other side of Europe Sweden has been rapidly expanding it's use of microchip technology for quite some time with tens of thousands already microchipped:   Watch Video: https://youtu.be/Ksw-arKvMPk   Notes and coins now make up less than 1 percent of Sweden's economy which is ironic considering it was the first European country to issue modern banknotes, in 1661.   "No cash accepted" signs are now the norm in shops across Sweden as payments go digital and mobile but many Swedes want to take it to the next level as they blend tech with the human body.   Microchip implants that give people the ability to conduct financial transactions, monitor their health (including vaccination status) and even replace keycards to allow them to enter offices and buildings are the new rage as thousands have already been implanted.   Many technological enthusiasts believe this is the next logical step in a digital society that is quite happy to give up privacy for convenience. That convenience factor is a big reason commuters on the SJ Rail transit system have traded cash for chips:    Watch Video: https://youtu.be/5RSxfMYnah4   Many Bible Prophecy experts believe each of these steps is taking us closer to global acceptance of a digital "mark" commonly called "The Mark of the Beast" that will merge technology and commerce with political and religious allegiance as described in the Book of Revelation.   Most Christians recognize that current chip implants are not the actual "mark of the beast", yet there is concern that acceptance of such technology is conditioning people for when the real one does come along.    What often starts off as voluntary can just as easily become mandatory and whereas tech itself may be neutral, in the hands of the wrong person it could be extremely dangerous. Imagine the technology of today in the hands of Hitler.   Christians have long debated the meaning of the "mark of the beast". Our generation, however, appears to be the first to have the technology to fulfill this prophecy.   Soon, you may have to answer the question: 'would you get chipped'?

We all see what Putin continues to do in Ukraine, and that nations like China continue to make it possible. Anger seems like a reasonable response. When you see the fear and confusion being sown into young children around the world, does it make you angry? Of course, it does! Some are outraged by the raid on Mar-a-Lago. Others are outraged at Donald Trump. Despite their differences, Americans tend to hold one thing in common — anger.   For a moment, push your animosity aside. Take a step back from a media establishment that makes its money by making you mad. Whichever side you are on, stop and consider. What does the Bible say?   First, the Bible does not condemn anger as evil in itself. Psalms 4:4 (NKJV) says, “Be angry, and do not sin. Meditate within your heart on your bed, and be still.” Yes, be angry. When you hear of child abuse, murder, or other injustices, be angry. But do not sin. Set your thoughts on the Lord. Pause. Be still.   The first part of Psalm 4:4 is quoted in the first part of Ephesians 4:26. “Be angry, and do not sin.” Anger can be a righteous response. But it never excuses sin. The second part of Ephesians 4:26 says, “Do not let the sun go down on your wrath.” Unrelenting anger will harm you mentally, physically, and spiritually. The next verse makes it clear that to hold on to your animosity is to “give place to the devil.” Think about that.   If you watch late night comedians or even cable TV news commentators, you will find that many liberals and many conservatives have become professional “scoffers.” They laugh at their political opponents. They make fun of them like bullies abusing another child on the playground. Psalm 1:1-2 warns against spending time with such people. “Blessed is the man who walks not in the counsel of the ungodly, Nor stands in the path of sinners, Nor sits in the seat of the scornful; But his delight is in the law of the Lord, And in His law he meditates day and night.”   Verse 3 tells how much better it is for those who meditate on God’s word than for those who hang out with the scoffers. It says the person focused on God’s word “shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water that brings forth its fruit in its season, Whose leaf also shall not wither; and whatever he does shall prosper.” If you want that kind of blessing in your life, think on the things of God. Do not “walk in the counsel of the ungodly,” nor “stand in the path of sinners,” nor “sit in the seat of the scornful.” Instead, delight yourself in God and His word.   The NKJV and KJV use the word “scornful.” The NASB and ESB Bibles translate it as “scoffers.” The NIV and New Living Translations say, “mockers.” Proverbs 29:8 says that such people — the mocking, scoffing, scorners — “set a city aflame.” Our country is aflame with rage because as a nation we have chosen to follow the scornful.   The second half of that verse says, “But wise men turn away wrath.” Your country, your friends, and your family need you to be wise right now. That harsh meme on Facebook may express your frustration and outrage, but is it wise? Are you inflaming resentment? Proverbs 15:1 says, “A soft answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger.” Which do you choose?   We must criticize America, her institutions, and her leaders when they are wrong. But we can do so in thoughtful, intelligent, persuasive ways. We do not have to choose the path of scorn and rage. Our goal is to win people to Christ, not bully them. We want to persuade them, not slap them on the side of the head with “a harsh word.”   Remember 1 Corinthians 13:4, 5, and 8. “Love suffers long and is kind; love does not envy; love does not parade itself, is not puffed up; does not behave rudely, does not seek its own, is not provoked…. Love never fails.”

There Will Be Pestilences: Authorities Don’t Understand Why So Many Vile Diseases Are Suddenly Erupting Around The World - by Michael Snyder - http://endoftheamericandream.com/there-will-be-pestilences-authorities-dont-understand-why-so-many-vile-diseases-are-suddenly-erupting-around-the-world/   Why are we seeing so many unusual outbreaks of disease in 2022? Coming into this year, there was just one major outbreak that everyone was talking about. But then 2022 came along, and all of a sudden it seemed like there was a new disease in the news every month. First, an eruption of the bird flu spread like wildfire and that resulted in the deaths of tens of millions of our chickens and turkeys. Then monkeypox took the world by storm. It has spread to nearly 100 different countries, and it is now the worst monkeypox outbreak in history by a very wide margin. And now more weird diseases are popping up. Earlier this month, I wrote an article about the appearance of “Langya henipavirus” in China and the case of polio that was just detected in New York, and in this article I will be telling you about even more strange outbreaks that are deeply alarming global authorities.   For example, a very mysterious virus that is being called “the tomato flu” has started to spread in India…   Doctors in India have sounded the alarm over a new virus dubbed ‘tomato flu’ that has infected dozens of children.   The infection was spotted in May in the southern state of Kerala and it is feared to be a new variant of hand, foot, and mouth disease.   There are a couple of things about this that caught my attention right away.   First of all, I think that it is very noteworthy that this has happened in India. There are more than a billion people in that nation, and many of them live in extremely overcrowded urban areas.   Secondly, this is yet another disease that causes sores on the skin. In fact, the sores can actually grow until they are “the size of a tomato”…   The infection gained its name because it causes an ‘eruption’ of red painful blisters across patients’ bodies that ‘gradually enlarge to the size of a tomato’.   Most patients also suffer high fever and intense joint pain, but fatigue, sickness and diarrhoea have also been reported.   Could you imagine having sores that grow to be the size of tomatoes all over your body?   I get grossed out just thinking about that.   We are being told that this disease appears to be “very contagious”, and at this point there is no known cure…   There is currently no test or treatment for the virus.   Medics say all patients should be isolated for five to seven days from symptom onset and told to rest, drink plenty of fluids and take paracetamol.   Right now, authorities have no idea where this disease came from or why it has suddenly erupted.   And that should deeply concern all of us.   Meanwhile, three people have already died in Tanzania from an outbreak of a disease known as “leptospirosis”…   A deadly outbreak of an unknown disease in Tanzania has been identified as leptospirosis, health officials said.   More than 20 cases, including three deaths, have been reported in the southern Lindi region, with patients exhibiting symptoms similar to Ebola or Marburg virus diseases — fever, headache, fatigue and bleeding, especially from the nose, according to health officials. Preliminary results from laboratory testing earlier this month had ruled out Ebola and Marburg viruses as well as COVID-19, making the illness a mystery — until now.   Since this particular outbreak is limited to a particular geographic area, hopefully it can be contained.   Because this is a disease that doesn’t sound fun at all. The following information about leptospirosis comes from the CDC…   Leptospirosis is a bacterial disease that affects humans and animals. It is caused by bacteria of the genus Leptospira. In humans, it can cause a wide range of symptoms, some of which may be mistaken for other diseases. Some infected persons, however, may have no symptoms at all.   Without treatment, Leptospirosis can lead to kidney damage, meningitis (inflammation of the membrane around the brain and spinal cord), liver failure, respiratory distress, and even death.   Elsewhere in Africa, it appears that there is yet another outbreak of Ebola in the Democratic Republic of Congo…   The Democratic Republic of Congo is investigating a suspected case of Ebola in its violence-wracked east, the World Health Organization said Saturday, just weeks after the end of a previous epidemic.   The DRC early last month declared its latest Ebola outbreak over, more than two months after the virus re-emerged in the northwestern Equateur province.   There were four confirmed cases and one probable case—all of whom died—in what WHO said was the country’s 14th outbreak since the disease was discovered there in 1976.   The good news is that Ebola has never spread very easily among humans.   So we have never seen a true global outbreak of the disease.   But we didn’t think that there would ever be a true global outbreak of monkeypox, and now thousands upon thousands of people are deeply suffering all over the world.   Authorities can’t seem to explain why monkeypox has changed so dramatically.   And they also can’t seem to explain why so many strange diseases have been suddenly breaking out all over the globe this year.   Even here in the United States, really weird things are happening. For instance, we just learned that an 8-year-old boy in Nebraska was just killed by a “brain-eating amoeba”…   An 8-year-old boy has died in Nebraska after reportedly becoming infected with the brain-eating amoeba. If confirmed, this would be the first case in the state ever recorded and suggests the Naegleria fowleri is expanding further north in the U.S.   The boy, Easton Gray, was likely exposed to the amoeba when he went swimming in the Elkhorn River near Valley—a community located west of Omaha—on August 8, according to the Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services.   We were warned that this era in history would be a time of great pestilences, and it is happening right in front of our eyes.   And unfortunately, what we have experienced so far is just the beginning.   Every single day, mad scientists are monkeying around with the most virulent diseases ever known to humanity in secret labs all over the planet.   And in many of those cases, they are purposely trying to make those diseases even more deadly.   It is often said that “accidents happen”, and I have a feeling that we are going to see a lot more “accidents” in the days ahead.

Daily jot: FBI insiders and the Trump raid - Bill Wilson – www.dailyjot.com   A document released by the US District Court for Florida’s Southern District indicates that the August 5 FBI search warrant to raid former president Donald Trump’s house was actually initiated in court by an FBI agent, whose name has been withheld from the public. The application for the warrant was signed by an FBI Special Agent who, “under the penalty of perjury” had” reason to believe” there was “willful retention of national defense information,” “Concealment or removal of government records,” and “Obstruction of federal investigation.” It would appear that the same agent signed the affidavit that was the genesis of the FBI raid.   Furthermore, the request to withhold from the public all the documents associated with the motion, affidavit, and the search warrant was made by United States Attorney Juan Antonio Gonzalez and a redacted “Assistant United States Attorney.” That motion to seal the documents states that “The United States submits that there is good cause because the integrity of the ongoing investigation might be compromised, and evidence might be destroyed. The United States further requests that, pursuant to this Court’s procedures for Highly Sensitive Documents, all documents associated with this investigation not be filed on the Court’s electronic docket because filing these materials on the electronic docket poses a risk to safety given the sensitive nature of the material contained herein.”   There have been many conspiracy theories around what the FBI did, who was on the inside helping the FBI, whether documents were planted, and so forth. These are just distractions from the main issue. The FBI, according to this document, originated the infamous affidavit for the search, petitioned for the search warrant and conducted the raid. This is no different than when President Obama and the Hillary Clinton campaign used fabricated documents to obtain secret authorization from the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court (FISA) to spy on Trump’s 2016 presidential campaign. The documents raise no certainty that any law was broken nor whether any illegal documents were being held by Trump.   This government action is against a private citizen who the political party in power and its accomplices want to see destroyed. It’s a show of the absolute power of government despite Constitutional guarantees of due process and protection of privacy. These documents insinuate wrongdoing and generated another news cycle of headlines that Trump was hiding something illegal. He forgives all our sin, removes our guilt, and literally takes residence inside of us through the Holy Spirit.   Most importantly, He changes our eternal address from a place called Hell to a place called Heaven. This all comes about as a result of the power of the gospel proclaimed and believed.   Yet some have believed what I would describe as a watered-down version of the gospel, a gospel that promises forgiveness but rarely mentions the need to repent of your sin, a gospel that promises peace but never warns of persecution, a gospel that says God wants you to be healthy and wealthy and never have any problems to speak of, a gospel that says you will so find the favor of God that a parking space always will be available for you. But that is not the gospel of the New Testament.   The Christian life is not a playground, but a battleground. Not only is there a God who loves you and has a plan for your life, but there is also a devil who hates you and opposes God’s plan.   I am not suggesting that once you become a Christian, you will be sick, poor, and miserable. But the essence of the Christian life is knowing and walking with God. It is about sticking with Him when the sky is blue and also when it is filled with clouds. It is about pressing on. Jesus made it clear that storms will enter every life. But as we seek to know and follow Christ, we will find happiness as a fringe benefit.
