PROPHECY UPDATE 8/29/2022

Advice From the Pits of Hell - By Daymond Duck - https://www.raptureready.com/2022/08/27/advice-from-the-pits-of-hell-by-daymond-duck/

Concerning the coming world government: the Bible teaches that it will be led by a blasphemous Satan worshipper (Rev. 13:4-7).

Klaus Schwab, head of the World Economic Forum (WEF), relies on a gay atheist advisor named Yuval Noah Harari, who, in recent weeks, blasphemed God by saying, “Jesus rising from the dead and being the Son of God is fake news.”

On Aug. 12, 2022, it was reported that he said the world does not need most of its current population (he said most human beings are useless).

On Aug. 18, 2022, it was reported that this blasphemer said, “We don’t need some God in the clouds handing down tablets” (the Ten Commandments) because we’ve created our own cloud (the Internet cloud) and our own tablets (computers).

On Aug. 18, 2022, one writer opined (based on Harari’s writings in 2018) that the blasphemous Harari believes, “There is no truth, only power” (according to the Bible, Jesus is truth, the Scriptures are truth, etc.), and he said, “Humans prefer power to truth.”

I am not Harari’s judge, but world leaders appear to be getting advice from the pits of Hell as they structure their temporary New World Order (sadly, most of the church and media remain lukewarm or silent, and many of America’s leaders, including the Pres. of the U.S., support the coming satanic New World Order).

Here are recent current events that seem to indicate that the New World Order will soon take over this world.

One, concerning the Battle of Gog and Magog: on Aug. 17, 2022, Israel and Turkey announced that they will return to full diplomatic relations.

Some have asked me what this means. I don’t think it means very much; Erdogan cannot be trusted. He will abandon his agreement and join Russia, Iran, etc., when God decides to drag them onto the mountains of Israel. He is not in control. God is in control.

Two, concerning Covid: on Aug. 17, 2022, the head of the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) acknowledged that the agency made major mistakes in its handling of Covid, and as a result, the CDC will be overhauled.

There is no question that the CDC needs to be overhauled (their major mistakes have led to adverse reactions to jabs, including the death of some people, skepticism about the veracity of the CDC, skepticism about the value of wearing a mask, people losing their jobs, people not being allowed to buy drugs that work such as Ivermectin, etc.). But government agencies don’t usually do a good job of overhauling themselves, and the people responsible for these major mistakes (the head of the CDC and others) may need to be replaced.

(More: On Aug. 19, 2022, Ben Shapiro (Daily Wire Editor Emeritus) warned that the CDC is actually seeking to increase its power and control over people.)

Three, concerning Covid: on Aug. 17, 2022, it was reported that 7 young, jabbed doctors died in Canada from July 13-28 (what are the odds of 7 young doctors dying in 14 days; 5 were from the same city; Toronto, Canada).

Four, concerning the coming of Messiah: on Aug. 19, 2022, the speaker on a prophecy program said that an Israeli rabbi is saying Messiah will return after Rosh Hashanah this year (Sept. 25, 2022). I hope the rabbi is right, but he is speculating, and there have been a lot of wrong speculators through the years.

Keep in mind what the great Ed Hindson used to say:

  • Don’t waste your time,
  • Trying to guess the time,
  • Jesus can come anytime,
  • Be ready all the time.

When He comes, this Rosh Hashanah or whenever, we definitely need to be ready.

Five, concerning the deceit, persecution, censorship, and famine: Aug. 15, 2022, was the one-year anniversary of Pres. Biden’s withdrawal of American troops from Afghanistan, an event that Pres. Biden said went off “as designed” even though 13 U.S. service members were killed and billions of dollars of weapons were abandoned.

According to The Washington Free Beacon, in the 12 months since America’s “designed” withdrawal:

  • Afghan women have been banned from attending school.
  • There has been a crackdown on the Afghan media.
  • There have been mass executions of Afghan citizens.
  • The Afghan economy has declined by more than 60%.
  • About 20 million Afghans are going hungry, impoverished, or malnourished.
  • Afghanistan has returned to being a haven for terrorists.

Six, concerning famine and food shortages: on Aug. 23, 2022, the Chief Economist at the UN World Food Programme (WFP) said,

  • “50 million people across 45 countries are already on the verge of famine.”
  • “Another 345 million people are facing starvation across 80 countries.”
  • These numbers have increased 25% “from the start of the year.”

The situation is growing worse, and the U.S. will not be exempt forever.

Seven, concerning natural disasters: on Aug. 16, 2022, the White House announced that Arizona will receive 21% less water, Nevada will receive 8% less water, and northern Mexico will receive 7% less water from the Colorado River starting on Jan. 1, 2023.

For the time being, California, Colorado, Utah, and Wyoming will not be cut.

Arizona believes the White House is treating that state unfairly. That appears to be true, but regardless of how the water is divided, it is a fact that a severe drought is threatening 40 million people with the loss of their water and electricity.

God told King Solomon, “If I shut up heaven that there be no rain, or if I command the locusts to devour the land, or if I send pestilence among my people; If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land” (II Chron. 7:13-14).

Eight, concerning threats to America: on Aug. 22, 2022, Tulsi Gabbard, former Rep. from Hawaii, said, “The greatest threat to our democracy is not Trump voters or parents protesting at school board meetings, but the permanent Washington elite which has weaponized the govt and teamed up with corporate media to intimidate and silence those who dare to disagree with them.”

Many prophecy teachers call the “permanent Washington elite” that Gabbard was referring to “the shadow government” because they influence America’s government and are working to surrender America’s sovereignty to a world government.

A recent poll found that 74% of those polled think America is going in the wrong direction.

Finally, are you Rapture Ready?

If you want to be rapture ready and go to heaven, you must be born again (John 3:3). God loves you, and if you have not done so, sincerely admit that you are a sinner; believe that Jesus is the virgin-born, sinless Son of God who died for the sins of the world, was buried, and raised from the dead; ask Him to forgive your sins, cleanse you, come into your heart and be your Saviour; then tell someone that you have done this.

Follow the Science? - By Hal Lindsey - https://www.hallindsey.com/ww-8-28-2022/

Since Covid, we have heard a constant refrain of, “Follow the science!” Political campaigns argue over who best follows the real science on any given issue. Newscasts and articles push their point of view by claiming a closer affiliation to science than the other side. For more and more people, decisions are not a matter of wisdom or common sense, but about someone else’s definition of “the science.”

And I understand. We naturally defer to those whose knowledge of a topic comes from years of study. If your doctor says your life depends on getting a certain surgery, you get the surgery. Even if you feel fine, you almost always defer to the doctor. You might get a second opinion, but you get that opinion from another doctor. You go by the best medical facts available to you, and those come from experts. All that makes sense.

But in recent decades, especially the last few years, scientists have become the high priests of a new and almost universal religion — scientism. It makes a religion out of science, even though scientists disagree on all kinds of things, and science itself changes regularly on any given subject.

Science is built on a foundation of questioning. So, to make science a religion is to destroy its foundation. Many scientists see the dangers of this and emphasize that they are not purveyors of ultimate truth. They find facts and draw the best conclusions they can. But they know those conclusions may be disproven in the future. Other scientists, however, have fully embraced their new religious and political powers.

As with any religion, the leaders must profess the correct creed, or else be labeled a heretic. Darwinian evolution? Check. They regularly ostracize the men and women of science who disagree. Man-made climate change? Check. If you don’t believe the world is heating up and that it is heating up for “doctrinally correct” reasons, they will call you a “climate denier.” (This is funny because no one disputes that “climate” exists.)

The term “climate denier” sounds like “holocaust denier,” and that’s on purpose. A holocaust denier claims that the Nazi extermination of some six million Jews never happened. That’s a clear denial of a proven, historical fact. It is a belief usually embraced by those who hold an extreme hatred of the Jewish people. In other words, it’s a matter of prejudice and ignorance. They want to paint those who disagree on climate change in exactly those terms, even though the two things are not alike.

In effect, “climate denier” is a modern cry of, “Heretic!”

Science often gets things wrong. Real science admits this fact. That’s why scientists keep working on problems. How many times have you read an article on some new discovery, and saw a quote that says, “We were stunned!” They were stunned because they found something they had not expected. Scientists don’t know everything, and every day they keep trying to know more. That’s an admirable thing, but it makes a terrible religious faith.

Jesus said that to build your life on His word is like building on solid rock. But to build elsewhere is to build on sand. When a storm strikes a house built on sand, it comes crashing down. Why? Because sand, like science, keeps shifting. Its nature is to change. In science, that’s good because it allows scientists to keep refining their understanding of the physical world.

But when you face the great issues of life, you need more than sand. You can trust the all-knowing God who made universe. And the Bible has repeatedly proven to be His word. That means trusting it is reasonable, and building on it is safe.

Why Are So Many Bad Things Happening To America In 2022? - by Michael Snyder - http://theeconomiccollapseblog.com/why-are-so-many-bad-things-happening-to-america-in-2022/

Have you ever wondered why we just keep getting hit by one thing after another? I grew up during a time when it seemed like America was endlessly blessed, but now everything around us seems the opposite of blessed. Our economy is imploding, inflation is out of control, the housing market is starting to crash, our weather patterns have gone completely nuts, the western half of the nation is enduring the worst drought in 1,200 years, we are dealing with three major pandemics simultaneously, we are losing our proxy war with Russia in Ukraine and it looks like war with China is just around the corner, and on top of everything else our political system is failing because liberals and conservatives deeply, deeply hate one another. And if you think that there is hope on the horizon, you are going to be severely disappointed. The current crop of politicians in Washington is the worst that we have had in our entire history, and all of the “solutions” they give us just seem to make matters even worse.

This weekend, I came across a very intriguing article in the Jerusalem Post entitled “Is God punishing the United States of America?”

It was authored by a prominent businessman named Sherwin Pomerantz, and it really got me thinking.

Could it be possible that there is a common thread that connects all of the bad things that are constantly happening to us?

In his article, one of the points that Pomerantz makes is that America’s political system is coming apart at the seams right in front of our eyes…

Politically, whether people want to admit it or not, the country is in the midst of a civil war, though for the moment, not one where both sides have taken up arms, one against the other (although that, too, could eventuate).

Sadly, he is right on target.

There is so much politically-motivated hatred in our country today. Liberals deeply hate conservatives and conservatives deeply hate liberals. It would seem that it is only a matter of time before the entire system shatters.

On another note, Pomerantz believes that it is no coincidence that our weather patterns have gone totally haywire and that our nation is being constantly hit by natural disaster after natural disaster…

Then there is the weather. On average, the US experiences fewer than 1,500 tornadoes a year. Through June, there have already been 940 reported tornadoes there, which means the country is on track to see 2,000 or more, a 33% increase year-on-year.

The nightly news out of the US for the past few months shows tens of millions of people under extreme weather risk every day, often in three different areas of the country simultaneously (upper Midwest, East coast and the Southeast region). In the west, a long period of drought has been drying up reservoirs and spawning massive forest fires. National Interagency Fire Center (NIFC) statistics show that as of July 5, 34,478 fires have already burned 4,582,301 acres. This is above the 10-year average of 27,346 fires, and twice the average of 2,026,917 acres burned. The odd thing is that very little of this occurs just north of the US in Canada, or just south in Mexico. It all seems to be centered in the US.

I did find it odd that Pomerantz only briefly mentioned the drought, because it is actually a really big deal.

At this moment, the western half of the nation is in the midst of the worst multi-year megadrought that the region has experienced in 1,200 years, and this is having an absolutely devastating impact on agricultural production.

For example, we are now being warned that a very serious shortage of tomatoes could soon be coming…

As endless supply chain-related food shortages force people to adjust their grocery lists, another essential ingredient is becoming scarce. Along with avocados, cream cheese, chickpeas, and olive oil, the supply of tomatoes has started to dwindle. But this time it’s California’s catastrophic drought conditions denying farmers the water needed to grow the versatile vegetable that’s to blame. Due to the shortage, the price of byproducts like ketchup, salsa, and spaghetti sauce has started to surge.

Speaking about the tomato shortage, Head of the California Tomato Growers Association Mike Montana said the golden state desperately needs rain. “We are getting to a point where we don’t have inventory left to keep fulfilling the market demand,” he told Bloomberg News. California, which grows a quarter of the world’s tomatoes, is in the middle of a historic drought that has stoked massive wildfires while drying up reservoirs. It has also become a major threat to the agriculture industry.

When I was growing up, I never once imagined that there could ever be a shortage of tomatoes in this country.

But things have changed, and life in the U.S. will never again be like it was when I was a little boy.

Although to be honest I am having flashbacks to the 1970s with all of the inflation we are witnessing right now.

In fact, if the inflation rate was still calculated the way that it was back in 1980, it would be higher than anything that we experienced during the Jimmy Carter era.

Over the past couple of years, our politicians in Washington have gone on the most dramatic borrowing and spending binge in human history, and the “experts” at the Federal Reserve pumped trillions of fresh dollars into the financial system.

Of course that was going to cause inflation, and now we have a colossal mess on our hands.

I really like how Steve Bannon recently summed up what we are now facing…

Every time you get a paycheck you’re falling behind because of inflation. Your real wages, sixteen months in a row (now let me think, how long has the Biden Administration been around here – about 18 months). Every month since they’ve been here real wages are down.

Ok so you’re losing, your treadmill, you’re losing every day in your wages and now the little bit of equity you have in the world, the little bit of net worth you’ve got in the world, the bottom’s fallen out on that.

Ok. You are screwed. Let me be blunt. Let me do some Harvard Business School math for you – You’re screwed.

The Federal Reserve is recklessly hiking interest rates in a desperate attempt to battle inflation, but everyone knew that this would inevitably cause a housing crash.

And as I pointed out last week, a housing crash has already begun.

This July, new home sales were about 30 percent lower than they were last July…

The plunge in home sales is just stunning. Sales of new single-family houses collapsed by 12.6% in July from the already beaten-down levels in June, and by nearly 30% from July last year, to a seasonally adjusted annual rate of 511,000 houses, the lowest since January 2016, and well below the lockdown lows, according to data from the Census Bureau today.

Sadly, this is just the beginning.

If the Fed keeps raising rates, things will get far worse.

Meanwhile, we find ourselves battling three major pandemics all at once.

Despite everything that our health authorities have done, COVID is still with us and will be with us for many years to come.

If that wasn’t bad enough, a bird flu pandemic has erupted this year which has resulted in tens of millions of our chickens and turkeys being wiped out.

On top of that, a new monkeypox outbreak continues to spread at an exponential rate all over the planet.

Is it just some sort of a bizarre coincidence that we are now facing three major pestilences simultaneously?

Of course this article would not be complete unless I talked about the war.

We are now deeply involved in a proxy war with Russia in Ukraine, and it is not going very well.

And if both sides continue to escalate matters, we could eventually find ourselves in a nuclear conflict with Russia which would have the potential to ultimately kill billions of people.

In addition, the warmongers in the Biden administration have also brought us to the brink of a war with China. More U.S. politicians keep flying over to Taiwan, and at some point the Chinese are going to decide that they simply cannot take any more provocations.

Also, it is just a matter of time before Iran and Israel go to war. And once that happens, the U.S. will inevitably decide to intervene.

In this article, I have covered war, plagues, economic collapse and natural disasters among other things.

Could it be possible that all of these things are happening at this specific moment in human history for a reason?

And could it be possible that we were warned in advance that all of these things would be coming?

My hope is that this article will get people thinking.

All of human history has been building up to a grand crescendo, and we get to be here for it.

Unfortunately, the vast majority of the population has no idea what is ahead, and so most of them are going to be absolutely blind-sided by the cataclysmic events that are rapidly coming our way.

America Is Not Exempt From Judgment - By Grant Phillips - https://www.raptureready.com/2022/08/27/america-is-not-exempt-from-judgment-by-grant-phillips/

As I’ve heard David Reagan say so often, “God does not wrap Himself in the American flag.” He is simply saying, along with the apostle Peter, “… “In truth I perceive that God shows no partiality” (Acts 10:34).

We, as a society, think we can do or say anything we want and never have to pay the piper. Most in our society either do not believe in God or think we are so special that God would not dare judge us.

Is God really just a big teddy bear up in Heaven that winks at sin? Is He really so impressed by us that He would consider us an exception and just hold His nose while He gives us a big hug? I personally feel we are under judgment now, and I’ll explain why I believe that later on in this article.

First of all, I would like for us to consider a few judgments by God upon others in the past and the future. These are in no particular order.

PAST JUDGMENTS

God’s Judgment in the Garden of Eden:

Adam and Eve listened to the serpent and disobeyed God, then sin entered us and had to be judged. Judgment was handed down by God upon them and their progeny, and judgment was also pronounced upon the serpent. Read chapter three of Genesis.

God’s Judgment on Sodom and Gomorrah:

Sodom and Gomorrah were extremely wicked in every respect, much like us, by the way. Jesus’ half-brother said of them and the surrounding cities of that day the following:

“In a similar way, Sodom and Gomorrah and the surrounding towns gave themselves up to sexual immorality and perversion. They serve as an example of those who suffer the punishment of eternal fire” (Jude 7).

The account of their destruction is recorded in Genesis 19:23-29. Only Lot and his daughters survived.

God’s Judgment on Those in Noah’s Day:

Well, here is another group of people, much like us, who refused to repent of their evil devices. They ignored Noah’s warnings and became more and more evil. Their judgment is recorded in Genesis 6:1-8; 7. Only Noah and his family survived. Everyone else drowned by a worldwide flood.

God’s Judgment on Egypt:

Because of the Pharoah’s arrogance, the people suffered, and the Egyptian army was drowned in the Red Sea. See Exodus 14:26-28.

God’s Judgment on Israel:

The northern kingdom, called Israel at that time, had turned its back on God and was taken captive by the Assyrians in 722 B.C. Out of 19 kings, they were all bad, from Jeroboam I to Hoshea, a period from 931 B.C. to 721 B.C. You can read about their judgment by Assyria in 2 Kings.

God’s Judgment on Judah:

In the book of Daniel, we can get a first-hand look at Judah, the southern kingdom, following its captivity by the Babylonians from 607-586 B.C. Out of twenty kings, from 931 B.C. to 586 B.C., there were only eight that could be called “good.”

God’s Judgment on Babylon:

In 539 B.C., God allowed the Persians to capture Babylon to punish them for taking Judah captive. In Daniel 5, we can see the beginning of Babylon’s fall.

God’s Judgment on all Israel for Rejecting their Messiah:

In 70 A.D., Israel’s temple was destroyed and the people scattered to the four winds. Luke 19:43-44 gives us the reason for their judgment.

FUTURE JUDGMENTS

God’s Judgment and Reconciliation for Israel During the Tribulation:

Note Ezekiel 20:36-38; Romans 11:26; Revelation 6ff. (I will repeat this judgment at the end.) In Daniel 9:20-27, we are told of 483 years and then the additional seven years remaining, which will comprise the Tribulation.

God’s Judgment of the Gentiles at His 2nd Coming:

Read Matthew 25:31-46. There will be three classes of people at this judgment: sheep (saved Gentiles), goats (unsaved Gentiles), and brothers (the people of Israel).

God’s Judgment of Fallen Angels at the End of the Millennium:

Please see Jude 6.

God’s Judgment of the Wicked Dead at Great White Throne After Millennium:

Read Revelation 20:11-15.

God’s Judgment on Gog and Magog:

See Ezekiel 38 – 39.

God’s Judgment of Satan:

See Revelation 20:7-10.

Obviously, this is not an exhaustive list, but it is clear that the Almighty God we serve will not hesitate to administer judgment upon individuals and nations that refuse to repent. Someone may say, “My God is a God of love!” I must reply that God is a God of love, and He is also holy. He cannot condone sin, and there are no exceptions.

“Then Peter opened his mouth and said: “In truth I perceive that God shows no partiality. But in every nation whoever fears Him and works righteousness is accepted by Him” (Acts 10:34-35).

The United States of America was once a God-fearing country. Today every area of our society is so deep in sin that we are now a carbon-copy of those in Noah’s day and those in the days of Lot. Our government is totally corrupt, steeped in pride and greed, and hates anything associated with a holy God. Along with the politicians, the entertainment industry in our nation is perverse and laughs in the face of Almighty God, as the world of business robs from the people and thumbs their nose at God. Even most of the churches have been taken over by false prophets, perversion and apostasy, and are leading people by the millions straight to hell.

What has happened to us, a country that at the very least once showed the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob respect and recognized the Son of God as the only way to the Father?

As did Ephesus, we lost our first love and turned our back on God. In our pride, we have sunk to the lowest depth of Satan’s sewers. We removed God from every aspect of our society and have never looked back since at least 1963, when we chose to remove Him from our schools.

As I said earlier, I believe we are already under judgment, for Romans 1:24-25 says that God gave us over to sinful desires. Romans 1:26-27 says God gave us over to shameful lusts, and Romans 1:28-32 say God finally gave us over to a depraved mind. In other words, God backed away and gave us what we wanted, and now we are reaping what we have sown.

Yes, God is love, and He proved it at the cross, but He doesn’t save anyone by His love. He saves all who will come to Him by His grace (Ephesians 2:8-9).

God’s Judgment at the Cross of Calvary:

The greatest judgment of God was upon Jesus Christ at Golgotha (Calvary). On that cross, Jesus took our sins upon Himself and died for us so that all who come to Him will be saved from wrath. Please read John 12:30-33.

Self-Judgment During the Church Age:

Every person who comes to Jesus and asks Him to save them will be saved and never face judgment because Jesus paid the price for us that we could never pay.

1 Corinthians 11:27-32 tells us, as true followers of Christ, to judge ourselves so as not to bring any disrespect upon our Lord. Also, we learn of Him and serve Him in whatever way He leads us. In turn, there is another judgment.

God’s Judgment of the Believers Works After the Rapture:

2 Corinthians 5:10 and 1 Corinthians 3:12-15 promise that Jesus will judge the works of every believer, not sins, but works. He paid our sin debt at the cross, but this judgment is to reward us for serving Him.

Even though our country has placed itself in God’s crosshairs, as did the Pharoah of Egypt and so many others, we must stay true to God’s Word.

There is another judgment that many will face.

God’s Judgment During the Tribulation (Repeated):

The Church will not be here for the Tribulation (1 Thessalonians 1:10; 5:9). We will be in Heaven with Jesus, preparing for the greatest wedding of all. All who have rejected Jesus will remain upon the earth to suffer through God’s wrath (Revelation 6:17), a time so terrible that all mankind would die if not for His grace (Mark 13:20).

In my opinion, our once great country has crossed the line, and there is nothing remaining but the judgment of God. We are in the last days just prior to the Tribulation, and the only thing the Bible says about this time period is that it will get worse and worse until the Church is first removed, and then the Tribulation will begin.

Our leaders and the majority of our populace want nothing to do with God, but the good news is that any who are willing can come to Jesus right now and be saved from the wrath to come. How do you avoid the Tribulation? Call upon Jesus now.

Out of the list of judgments I have mentioned above, how can we be so naïve in thinking we are exempt simply because we are the United States of America? We are not exempt. Do we not realize that God has waited two thousand years in order to give the world plenty of time to repent?

“The night is far spent, the day is at hand: let us therefore cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armour of light” (Romans 13:12).

Daily Jot: For a time such as this - Bill Wilson – www.dailyjot.com

The loud daily din of the news media opining away about the evils of anyone who doesn’t agree with their form of liberalism takes a toll. The constant stream of fake news leaves people with confusion over what to believe. The visceral emanating from the mouths of elected representatives of the people characterizing those who disagree with them in foul terms, wounds the nation. Celebrities have gone wild in portraying as outcasts those who disagree with their humanist ideals. We are living in a time where civility has become rare. In the midst of this, be encouraged. We as Christians have a mission and a purpose. Take heart. We are to overcome evil with good and not grow weary in doing it.

Every phone call you make. Every letter you write. Every email you send. Every word you speak. Be encouraged. The Lord said in Isaiah 55:10-12, “For as the rain comes down, and the snow from heaven, and returns not thither, but waters the earth, and makes it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower, and bread to the eater: So shall my word be that goes forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it. For ye shall go out with joy, and be led forth with peace: the mountains and the hills shall break forth before you into singing, and all the trees of the field shall clap their hands.”

Neither be offended. The Lord says in Ezekiel 3:17-19, ”When I say unto the wicked, Thou shalt surely die; and you give him not warning, nor speak to warn the wicked from his wicked way, to save his life; the same wicked man shall die in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at thine hand. Yet if thou warn the wicked, and he turn not from his wickedness, nor from his wicked way, he shall die in his iniquity; but thou hast delivered thy soul.” No matter how long, no matter how difficult things become, do what the Lord tells you to do. As you do these things unto the Lord, you have made a transfer, so to speak, from yourself to others. It is now on them to act responsibly with the information. You have done your part.

God sent his only begotten Son to die on the cross for our sins that we might have life everlasting. It’s up to us to share the many facets of living out our salvation. 2 Corinthians 4:7-10 exhorts: “But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us. We are troubled on every side, yet not distressed; we are perplexed, but not in despair; Persecuted, but not forsaken; cast down, but not destroyed; Always bearing about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our body.” Keep going. Keep doing. You never know when your action may be that last full measure needed to advance God’s plan. Never give up.

Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path —Psalm 119:105

There are a lot of people today who say they hear the voice of God telling them to do this or that. But what we must remember is that God never will contradict His Word. He always will lead us according to what the Bible says.

Some people come up with some lame concepts, such as “We’re not married, but God has told us it’s okay to have sex.” I could assure them that God didn’t say that because in His Word, He says, “You shall not commit adultery” (Exodus 20:14). God won’t contradict His Word.

Let’s say you were hoping for a letter from someone. You stand at the window, waiting for what seems like an eternity for the mail carrier to come by. Finally, he drives up, and you bolt over to your mailbox. You’re looking for that letter. Maybe it’s from someone you’re in love with. Maybe it’s an answer to a job application. Maybe it’s something you ordered in the mail. Maybe you’ve won the sweepstakes.

But imagine this. What if you had a handwritten note sent to you from God? Would you carry it around in your pocket for a couple of weeks and open it when you got around to it? I doubt it. You probably would tear it open as you’re thinking, Wow, God spoke to me! What does He have to say?

The Bible is a written letter from God. A lot of us carry it. We have it in different colors and sizes. We have it in different translations. Some of us even have it on our smartphones or tablets. But we never read it. Yet it’s a letter from God to us. If you want God to speak to you, then open up His Word.
