THE RAPTURE IS IMMINENT

47 “The first man is of the earth, earthy; the second man is the Lord from heaven.

48 As is the earthy, such are they also that are earthy: and as is the heavenly, such are they also that are heavenly.

49 And as we have borne the image of the earthy, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly.

50 Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption.

51 Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed,

52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.

53 For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.

54 So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory.” (1^st Corinthians 15:47-54)

The above opening verses describe a reality that many of us will experience, I believe soon in this time of the end of this age. It describes the 'Harpazo” or the forceful removal of the church from this earth in a instant, or the twinkling of an eye. Some people just cannot wrap their minds around such a concept. Many don't believe what the Bible shows us to be truth.

Paul was the first to make this known to the world, as it had never been taught before Paul called it a “mystery” or something not revealed in the past. The prophet Isaiah approached the doctrine in chapter 26, when he described the coming of the Lord to those in his time period.

19 “Thy dead men shall live, together with my dead body shall they arise. Awake and sing, ye that dwell in dust: for thy dew is as the dew of herbs, and the earth shall cast out the dead.

20 Come, my people, enter thou into thy chambers, and shut thy doors about thee: hide thyself as it were for a little moment, until the indignation be overpast.

21 For, behold, the Lord cometh out of his place to punish the inhabitants of the earth for their iniquity: the earth also shall disclose her blood, and shall no more cover her slain.” (Isaiah 26:19-21)

I've noticed that as you read Isaiah, much of the words the prophet writes lines up with the prophecy that John wrote in the final book of your Bible or Revelation of Jesus Christ. But until Paul fleshed out the concept and actually addressed the coming of the Lord for His church, then many people who read the Old Testament couldn't see what Isaiah was saying.

A FIRST CENTURY BELIEF

I've spoken of the doctrine that was believed in the 1^st Century church but was squashed in the Middle Ages by the ruling theocracy of a “church” whose main goal was power and authority over other men. The doctrine was revived in the 19^th century, as the Reformation gave men the ability to discern through God's Holy Spirit what the Words of God written actually meant. This doctrine was written for our time, not when it was written, as we are the last generation before Jesus comes again.

I've always believed that the Bible clearly teaches a Pre-Trib (HARPAZO) rapture of the church, not because I look for a so called “great escape” as some scoff, but because I embrace the belief that it is “Victory in Jesus” and that the church is not appointed to wrath that falls on this earth starting in Revelation chapter 6 all the way through chapter 19 of the destruction in Divine retribution of those who are in rebellion against Almighty God and God judges them as His patience has come to an end.

The Bible clearly teaches a Pre-Tribulation rapture that puts the last days and the Tribulation into context that is consistent with the overall flow of Bible prophecy.

That is the only reason I teach and believe in the removal of God's church prior to the Tribulation as it makes no difference to me if someone else does not believe in the doctrine and embraces another point of view, as the timing of the rapture plays no role in our salvation. Of all the doctrines of the Bible, this one is hotly contested among “brethren” who do not believe what they read, or fail to discern the meaning of the Words.

We are saved by faith through grace and the person believes that He is coming again, as promised, and will keep all of the many other promises that are spelled out in your Bible, including being an Advocate before the Righteous Judge of all the earth.

The believers faith is in the scripture that I so love to quote and believed as a small boy that God the Father sent His Son into the world to save all who come to Him.

16 “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.

18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.” (John 3:16-18)

But,( there's that word) the timing of the rapture of the Church is central to the understanding of the overall BIG picture of the last days.

We are in the last days and it is a different era than the coming Tribulation period. The “last days” are used throughout the whole of the Bible in the context of the “Church Age” that we are now coming to the end of the period known also as the “Age of Grace”.

It all began at Pentecost when the newly indwelt by the Holy Spirit apostles rushed from the upper room to the street proclaiming the salvation of God and the population thought they were drunk.

 "Others mocking said, These men are full of new wine. But Peter, standing up with the eleven, lifted up his voice, and said unto them, Ye men of Judaea, and all ye that dwell at Jerusalem, be this known unto you, and hearken to my words: For these are not drunken, as ye suppose, seeing it is but the third hour of the day. But THIS IS THAT WHICH was spoken by the prophet Joel; And it shall come to pass IN THE LAST DAYS saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams:" (Acts 2:13-17)

The last days that we speak of is the Age of the Church that we are living in and near at its end, whereas the 70^th week of Daniel prophecy is called the “Time of Jacob's Trouble also known as the Tribulation. These are two different “dispensations” of God and it is central to the understanding of the times that we now live in.

The apostle Paul referred to this age, as the “dispensation of the grace of God”.

2 “If ye have heard of the dispensation of the grace of God which is given me to you-ward:

3 How that by revelation he made known unto me the mystery; (as I wrote afore in few words,

4 Whereby, when ye read, ye may understand my knowledge in the mystery of Christ)” (Ephesians 3:2-4)

Paul called the conclusion of this present time the “Dispensation of the fullness of times”.

9 “Having made known unto us the mystery of his will, according to his good pleasure which he hath purposed in himself:

10 That in the dispensation of the fullness of times he might gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven, and which are on earth; even in him:

11 In whom also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestinated according to the purpose of him who worketh all things after the counsel of his own will:

12 That we should be to the praise of his glory, who first trusted in Christ.” (Ephesians 1:9-12)

DISPENSATIONS OF THE BIBLE

During our current dispensation, believers are indwelt by God's Holy Spirit as the Apostle John reminds us:

2 “Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God:

3 And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.

4 Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.” (1^st John 4:2-4)

Note the context of what John speaks of? The spirit of anti-Christ is already in the world, even in John's day, but this spirit cannot overcome the Church saints, because He Who dwells in us (The Holy Spirit) is greater than the spirit of anti-Christ.

But this same prophet, writing of the same Anti-Christ who will come in the flesh during the Tribulation will over come the saints says:

"And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to OVERCOME them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations." (Revelation 13:7)

Since the Apostle John wrote both passages, and they cannot be simultaneously true, the flow of the Bible is interrupted if the Church Age is concurrent with the Tribulation.

I've spoken of this in past messages, that if the 'Anti-Christ' is given power to overcome the saints, will he also be given power to overcome the Holy Spirit? Since John tells us that He (Jesus) had overcome the world, the Anti-Christ cannot overcome those who have God's Holy Spirit, but John tells us that he will overcome the saints. So the only explanation is that those who are saints in the Tribulation are not sealed with God's Holy Spirit and are not the church, but Tribulation saints. The Holy Spirit will still be moving, but each saint must guard their salvation to the very end as they will not be sealed with a guarantee of their salvation.

This is showing that God is not given the Anti-Christ power over Himself, the Holy Spirit of God. That leaves two possibilities apart from the Pre-Tribulation rapture in an analysis of the passage.

The first is that Jesus lied to us, that He would come to us and never leave us and we would always have the Comforter, that is until the tribulation comes and the Comforter would be withdrawn from the Church or the vessels He indwells and leaves them on their own to battle the Anti-Christ. Now we know that Jesus is God and does not lie, and He said He would NEVER leave us or forsake us. So strike that possibility.

The apostle Paul makes that clear that the Holy Spirit will be withdrawn back to Pre-Pentecostal manifestations on the earth, before the “WICKED' is revealed:

6 “And now ye know what withholdeth that he might be revealed in his time.

7 For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way.

8 And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming:

9 Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders,

10 And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.” (2^nd Thessalonians 2:66-10)

The Holy Spirit is the power of God holding back complete evil overtaking this world, and He indwells each believer who has come to Christ Jesus and proclaimed by faith, their Savior. For when the Holy Spirit indwelled believers are removed, then Satan will be allowed to attempt to destroy all mankind and receive worship for himself.

For a pre-Trib Rapture to be a false doctrine means our generation was chosen out of all others in Church history to face the greatest spiritual trial the world has ever known --  without the Comforter that Jesus promised would indwell us until He comes. That is a biblical contradiction.

The second possibility is that John was either lying or mistaken when he said the spirit of antichrist cannot overcome indwelt believers.

In either case, the promises of Scripture are broken. Since we know that Scripture cannot be broken, and that Jesus never lied, as He was sinless, then the only possible explanation is that the Pre-Tribulation rapture is the Truth of God's Word.

THOSE WHO DON'T BELIEVE.

In all my years in the ministry, I have heard every explanation of why the belief in a pre-Trib rapture of the church is nothing but a “great escape” and scoff that it is a false doctrine. Those who misunderstand the clear meaning of God's Word have not had their eyes opened to the words of Paul as I have spoken of this great Mystery, that only Paul reveals the truths of “Grace through Faith” and the “Harpazo or rapture of the church” which until the Apostle Paul had never been spoken of in the Words of your Bible. That is why in each case, Paul calls it a “mystery” or something that had been hidden. I believe the One who opened the “mystery” to Paul was none other than our Lord Jesus when Paul was in the wilderness for 3 years being taught before he even showed himself to the other apostles in Jerusalem.

.

But, its opponents will spare no effort to 'prove' that it is a false doctrine, as if the timing of the Rapture were somehow of eternal significance.  It is not.

The eternal significance of the Rapture is this:

14 “For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him.

15 For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep.

16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:

17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

18 Wherefore comfort one another with these words.” (1^st Thessalonians 4:14-18)

POINT AND COUNTER-POINT

Now with these two opposite opinions clearly in view, let us try and pull this all together by starting with the Words of Jesus in Matthew:

3 “And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world?

4 And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you.

5 For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.

6 And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.” (Matthew 24:3-6)

Jesus warned that there will be one who comes in his own name and will deceive many, as most of Israel will be fooled:

"I am come in My Father's name, and ye receive Me not: if another shall come in his own name, him ye will receive." (John 5:43)

Even today, Israel has been looking for a “political messiah” much as they did in the time of J

They have never believed up to this point that they needed a “spiritual Messiah” to save them from their sins, as they had the Law of Moses, even though we know the law kills and no one is able to keep the law perfectly. Jesus was the only “Man/God” on earth who ever did. It is why the Jews rejected Jesus as their Messiah, as they were looking for a warrior King, much like King David to destroy the Romans. Jesus just didn't fit their pre-conceived notions of who their “Messiah” would be, as they needed a warrior, not a suffering servant who came to die for the sins of the world.

So if one looks at the coming Anti-Christ, should you be so unfortunate to actually see him in the flesh, then if he is standing on the ground, instead of meeting you in the air, then you will know that he is an imposter, no matter what magic trick he performs to attempt to deceive you.

In summary, the Pre-Tribulation rapture is NOT a “great escape” for the church, is is a necessary evacuation of the Holy Spirit's restraining influence and allowing Satan to have full sway of men and women upon the earth to deceive and destroy them. So since the Holy Spirit resides in each of the Church members, or the body of Christ as a deposit of future glorification, then with the Holy Spirit being withdrawn, so will every believer that has His Spirit residing within our spirit.

If you remove the doctrine and the removal of God's people from this earth in the coming rapture of the church, then the chronology of Bible prophecy is thrown into chaos.

Although the doctrine of the rapture of the church has no “salvation value” as we are saved by “Grace through Faith” not of works, lest any man should boast, it has no eternal consequences to anyone that they must believe in the Pre-Tribulation rapture. They can believe or choose not to believe in this doctrine, as it has no salvation attached to it. I find no particular need to convert a believer to my own understanding of the last days. BUT, I stress the doctrines, as those who have not come to faith in Jesus Christ will be faced with the coming horror known as the Tribulation and the even more destructive Great Tribulation that will destroy nigh 80-90% of all mankind. Prophecy is a great witnessing tool to those who are lost.

I believe those who are found in Christ, when the trumpet sounds and they realize that they are being taken to meet Jesus Christ in the air will be as I am, raising my hands and praising God, knowing that they have been wrong to reject the doctrine. I have people in my own family who fear the coming tribulation and what will happen to their children and other loved ones. Sadly, they have no blessed Hope of being removed from this planet before the wrath of God falls upon all who are left.

10 “Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth.

11 Behold, I come quickly: hold that fast which thou hast, that no man take thy crown.” (Revelation 3:10-11)

Our Risen Lord proclaims to the Apostle John when speaking of the coming Tribulation that He will remove each of us from this planet, not through the Tribulation as some believe, but completely away from the time and space of this coming event. I have proclaimed in the past of the Greek Word that tells us this in the phrase “will keep thee” which states to be forcefully removed from point A to point B away from the time period or place.

But those who fear the coming Tribulation who do not have the assurance that “we are not appointed to wrath”.

8 “But let us, who are of the day, be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love; and for an helmet, the hope of salvation.

9 For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ,

10 Who died for us, that, whether we wake or sleep, we should live together with him.

11 Wherefore comfort yourselves together, and edify one another, even as also ye do.” (1^st Thessalonians 5:8-11)

Yes, my reader, Jesus is coming soon and will catch many believers asleep, and the whole world will wonder where millions of people have gone to. The left behind leadership will attempt plausible excuses and explanations of what has happened, but they speak falsely and attempt to blind the masses to the “snatching away” of the Church of the Living God who has been their blessed Hope.

11 “For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men,

12 Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world;

13 Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ;

14 Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.” (Titus 2:11-14)

To re-emphasize I must restate that salvation is given by God as a gift of His grace. It is through faith in the finished work of His Son, our Lord Jesus Christ, when He shed His blood on a Roman instrument of death, the cross. His shed blood if full payment for our sins, and His resurrection is our guarantee of our future glorification to be just like Him.

“Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not.

2 "Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.

3 And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as he is pure.” (1^st John 3:1-3)

SO WHY TEACH THE RAPTURE?

But I have said all this to answer the question, “Why teach a pre-tribulation rapture of the church?” Because without this doctrine that draws the Bible's prophecy into a coherent chronology of events, then Bible prophecy has no context, as without it, it makes no sense. I believe God has been most clear in the concept of the removal of the Church and I warn those who are playing church, warming a pew, or use the church as nothing but a social event, have missed the message of salvation and are doomed to endure, or most likely die in the coming Tribulation. 

Those whose eyes are opened by God's Holy Spirit feel the dread of being cast into the tribulation without God. And those who do eventually find God in the coming period of “Jacob's trouble” will most likely die a martyrs death. I warn those who are lost in their sins and have not made Jesus Christ, Lord of their life, changed their mind about God, repented of their sins, and asked Jesus into their heart and lives that there is coming a time that I would not want my worst enemy to endure. Not them and not you. The obligation to preach the Word of God in prophecy looking forward to the coming of our Lord for His Church and the beginning of the Tribulation is what I have been called to do. As a minister of Christ I can do no other.

Search your Bible, and be a good Berean and find out if what I have said is true. Ask God to lead you into all Truth...as Jesus said “Thy Word is Truth”.

"Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth." (2nd Timothy 2:15)

We are to study diligently, as it is our insurance of not being fooled by false teachers or false prophets and succumb to end time deception that Jesus said would be a sign of our times. As a Watchman on the Wall, I plead with you to look to Jesus now, the Author and Finisher of our faith. The Harpazo of the Church, (rapture) is close, even at the door, as Jesus will someday soon burst through the clouds and cry with a loud voice “Come up hither”.....WILL YOU BE READY?

Just a Matter of Time - By Daymond Duck - https://www.raptureready.com/2022/12/17/just-a-matter-of-time-by-daymond-duck-4/ Just a Matter of Time - By Daymond Duck - https://www.raptureready.com/2022/12/17/just-a-matter-of-time-by-daymond-duck-4/   Concerning peace in the Middle East: on Dec. 8, 2022, several high-level officials met at the First Annual Abraham Accords Global Leadership Summit in Rome.   Danny Danon, Israel’s former ambassador to the UN, said:   “I expect we’ll see an agreement between Israel and Saudi Arabia this year (in 2023).” After Benjamin Netanyahu is sworn in as Israel’s new Prime Min., his government’s “first priority will be to increase signatories to the Abraham Accords.” “It’s just a matter of time before courageous leaders step out of the shadows and full peace is achieved between all the children of Abraham.”   Imam Mohammad Tawhidi, vice-pres. of The Global Imams Council, told the Jerusalem Post he believes Danon’s assessment about Saudi Arabia is correct.   Summit officials signed a document called the Abraham Values Pledge, which is an agreement to adhere to: tolerance, coexistence and diversity; religion and family; and economic peace.   I am not saying the Abraham Accords will be the covenant of peace that will be confirmed by the Antichrist and mark the beginning of the Tribulation Period, but the Accords are a major step in that direction, and a worthless covenant of peace is just a matter of time. (Despite the Abraham Accords, there are many problems, and there are prophesied wars that still must be fulfilled.)   Nevertheless, history is nearing:   The end of 6,000 years (6 God-days) since the creation of Adam (II Pet. 3:8). The toes on the statue in Nebuchadnezzar’s dream (Dan. 2). The end of a generation since Israel became a nation in 1948 (Matt. 24:34). The end of 2,000 years (2 God-days) since the beginning of the Church Age.   And all of the signs are beginning to come to pass now (Luke 21:28).   Here are more reasons to believe that a worthless covenant of peace is just a matter of time.   One, concerning Saudi Arabia joining the Abraham Accords: on Dec. 8, 2022, it was reported that Saudi Crown Prince Mohammad bin Salman has given the U.S. three conditions for normalizing ties with Israel:   The U.S. must affirm its alliance with Saudi Arabia. The U.S. must supply weapons to Saudi Arabia as though it is a member of the NATO alliance. The U.S. must allow Saudi Arabia to use its uranium reserves to develop a restricted civil nuclear program.   Concerning the Crown Prince’s requirements: in the past, Saudi Arabia has said it would not join the Abraham Accords until the Israeli-Palestinian conflict is settled.   Some commentators say it looks like the Crown Prince has dropped that requirement.   A Saudi official recently said Saudi Arabia is looking to normalize relations with Israel, “but it will take more time.”   Two, concerning the Battle of Gog and Magog: in the latter years and latter days, Russia, Iran, and Turkey will join forces, move through Syria, and attack Israel.   On Dec. 9, 2022, it was reported that the relationship between Russia and Iran has reached an “unprecedented level.”   Russia needs weapons (especially drones) for its war in Ukraine, and Iran needs modern weapons (fighter jets, helicopters, air defense systems), technical support, and training to produce and use more advanced weapons.   The two nations are growing closer together by the day, and the U.S. is saying Russia and Iran are becoming “a full-fledged defense partnership.”   An interesting aspect about this is that God told Gog to be a guard unto her allies in the Battle of Gog and Magog (Ezek. 38:7).   (More: Turkey’s Pres. Erdogan recently said he is determined to launch a land operation at Turkey’s convenience to take more territory from the Kurds in northern Syria.)   (More: No weapon that is formed against Israel shall prosper; Isa. 54:17.)   Three, concerning corruption in the White House, Dept. of Justice, and FBI: Bill Wilson (Senior Analyst for Koenig World Watch Daily) recently wrote, “FBI agent Elvis Chan, in deposition, revealed that the FBI ordered Twitter to censor the Hunter Biden laptop story, and [current] Twitter owner Elon Musk said Twitter was also ordered by the Biden presidential campaign to censor the story.”   Let’s not forget that 51 intel agents (including at least two from the Obama administration, former CIA Directors James Clapper and John Brennan) signed a letter that said the Hunter Laptop information was wrong (Russian disinformation).   These intel agents put their signatures on a false document, sent it out, and they are the ones that Twitter should have censored.   (My opinion: The shadow government illegally ordered Twitter to censor free speech in the U.S. to cover for the Biden crime cartel because Joe supports the New World Order and is willing to surrender America’s sovereignty to a world government. With the shadow government working to destroy the sovereignty of America, it is not likely that America will ever be great again. The decline of America is a major fulfillment of Bible prophecy.)   (More: On Dec. 12, 2022, it was reported that a high-ranking Twitter official has been meeting weekly for several months with members of the FBI, the Dept. of Homeland Security, and Office of the Director of National Intelligence.)   Four, concerning corruption in Washington and all over the world: on Dec. 6, 2022, it was reported that Democrat megadonor, George Soros, has ties to more than 250 media organizations around the world.   Soros uses these ties to support corrupt politicians, change the traditions, culture and values of nations, elect officials that refuse to prosecute crime, etc., and (because of his media contacts and large contributions to politicians) nothing is ever done to stop him.   (More: On Dec. 11, 2022, it was reported that released internal Twitter documents show that Michelle Obama called for Pres. Trump to be permanently banned. George Soros was a major contributor to Barack Obama’s election campaigns.)   Five, concerning election corruption: on Dec. 9, 2022, it was reported that Kari Lake has filed a 70-page lawsuit claiming hundreds of thousands of illegal votes were counted in the Arizona governor’s election and is asking the court to throw out the results.   Lake is up against Kati Hobbs, who oversaw the election and declared herself the winner.   (More: On Dec. 10, 2022, it was reported that released Twitter e-mails verify collusion between Hobbs and Twitter staffers to censor conservatives. That 20 million households in the U.S. are behind on their utility bills.   Eight, concerning world government: on Dec. 13, 2022, The Defender posted an article by Dr. Joseph Mercola which said (in my words for the sake of brevity)…   The Great Reset will give people an electronic ID that will be connected to their bank account, health records, and social credit score. The reason for giving people an ID number that is connected to their bank account, health records, and social credit score is to track and control them. Every leader will be appointed, not elected (it will be the end of democracy, voting, etc.). Biden supports this plan. The New World Order, Great Reset, Fourth Industrial Revolution, and Build Back Better are terms that refer to the same thing (a plan to use artificial intelligence – computers – to track and control everyone). This plan is real; it is being implemented now; it is not a plan to return to the old normal; it is a plan to enslave everyone in the future, and people have already started working on ways to connect the body and mind of humans to computers (called transhumanism). Rethinking the Lie – Terry James - https://terryjamesprophecyline.com/2022/12/19/rethinking-the-lie/   I will ask you to indulge me just a bit while I think on the great lie that is prophesied for the time of Tribulation.   Perhaps it’s again the novelist within me struggling to burst forth, but I rather believe the impression to address the much-gone-over topic goes beyond any mere desire I have to create fiction.   Nonetheless, this is a theory; it’s not based on exactly what’s entailed in that great “lie” scheduled to deceive most of the world’s population.   One thing is sure: Just within the past few years, we’ve endured deception and lies of cataclysmic consequences for the future of our nation and the world. These lies are spawned by the father of lies, Satan, and are setting the stage for prophetic fulfillment that’s on the brink of engulfing all who will be left behind when the next great intervention into human history by God takes place.   To begin considering all of this, here is the prophetic lie that will be the culmination, I believe, of all lies Lucifer has foisted upon humanity.   And then shall that wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming: Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders, And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness. (2 Thessalonians 2:8–12)   We pre-Tribbers believe this is saying Antichrist will be “revealed” after the disappearance of millions of believers. There should be no doubt by anyone—believer or not—that such a massive vanishing of people before the eyes of others would cause unprecedented panic. The world would, at least temporarily, go nearly insane.   I believe when all children go to Christ at the Rapture, the magnitude of that panic will be beyond anything we can fully anticipate. Even children at conception will be missing. The sheer terror almost certainly produced by such an occurrence is almost unfathomable.   So the powers that be—the human minions, backed by the demonic beings of Ephesians 6:12—will have to produce answers to quell the terror that will grow from that event.   Here is a scenario-type supposition I believe might hold at least a degree of possibility. Actually, I base my thinking on two elements that are becoming more prevalent in the news at this very hour.   The first is a proven compliance-assured matter, already validated as a winner for the globalists who want a one-world government. The second involves an answer to what that great lie of 2 Thessalonians chapter 2 might well be, long speculated by some. I’m pondering whether some combination of the two could be at the heart of the lie Satan will put forth to explain what happened to all those who suddenly vanished.   The First Element   I believe that most will agree that things changed perceptibly with the onslaught of the so-called pandemic near the beginning of 2020.   There eventuated, and in short order, an almost complete worldwide lockdown.   There had never been anything like it in history. No government, no dictator, had ever achieved such a global shutdown of human activity and redirection toward—demand for—compliance. We were to take the vaccine against the COVID–or else…or else we would lose our right to travel and congregate, lose our jobs and many other rights. At least that was the threat.   The Second Element   There is a ramped-up interest in extraterrestrial activity. The UFO controversy isn’t so controversial these days.   Now the governments—the US and others—have acknowledged that extraterrestrial evidence exists, and such information is continually forthcoming as governments release what much of the populace has thought about the probability of the presence of other life on other planets. This opens the door to helping foment the great delusion, once the disappearance of millions happens.   We have wondered whether the powers that be will say that those who have disappeared have been taken from the earth by the “space brothers.”   I offer two items of interest in thinking on how the two elements mentioned above might play into Antichrist and his Ephesians 6: 12 minions foisting the lie God’s Word predicts.   The First Element   The World Bank has created a global pandemic fund, the largest fund in its history. At the same time, preparations to implement the World Health Organization’s Pandemic Treaty marches forward.   We recently published an article about G-20 leaders calling for the establishment of global vaccine passports. In it, we included remarks by Indonesian Health Minister Budi Gunadi Sadikin on 13 November, from Day 1 of B20 Indonesia 2022. “G20 country has agreed to have this digital certificate using WHO standard,” Sadikin said.   Earlier in his remarks, he mentioned that the global pandemic fund is the largest fund the World Bank has ever created and it will increase in the next 5-10 years. A team of experts is determined to change that with the first new alien “contact” protocol in 35 years.   If extraterrestrial life sent us a message tomorrow, how would humanity respond? According to researchers, we don’t know yet — and that’s a problem.   That’s why, for the first time in 35 years, a team of policy experts and scientists have united to establish a set of alien-contact protocols for the entire world to follow in the event of a sudden encounter with E.T. (“Scientists are working on an official ‘alien contact protocol’ for when ET phones Earth,” Isobel Whitcomb, Live Science, November 5, 2022)   Everywhere we look, we see the stage being set for fulfillment of prophecy during the Tribulation. I’m just pondering whether the two items above might be combined to produce one of those stage-setting foreshadowings.   People are already conditioned for being controlled by governmental masters in the matter of a future pandemic that might be promoted as one even deadlier than the one that produced worldwide panic and unprecedented compliance. Many have been preconditioned to believe we will one day be visited by other beings from somewhere out there.   When millions vanish, might global leaders, under Antichrist, say it was a strange virus or microbe that caused the dissolving of flesh and bone? Will they say someone from “out there” is descending to help the people of planet earth, who now must accept a “666” vaccination/remedy?   Too fantastic, you say? Well, we believe Jesus will call us and we will vanish from earth in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, don’t we?   Can’t get more fantastic than that! They claim the average number of people sleeping in a shelter every night climbed to nearly 66,000 in October.   It is far more preferable to sleep in a shelter than it is to sleep in the streets, because violence in NYC has escalated to very frightening levels…   Fatal stabbings and slashings are up an alarming 37% in the Big Apple this year.   The NYPD has logged 96 blade-involved killings so far in 2022, compared with 70 for the same period in 2021, according to department stats obtained by The Post.   Stabbings and slashings overall are up 10% in 2022, with 4,344 compared to 3,954 last year, the stats show.   Meanwhile, the downward spiral that we are witnessing in San Francisco is incredibly alarming.   I recently watched footage of what downtown San Francisco currently looks like, and afterwards I was truly at a loss for words.   WATCH: https://twitter.com/i/status/1603195116356657152   Have things really gotten this bad?   Part of the problem is that the office buildings downtown are much less occupied these days thanks to the “work at home revolution” that began during the early stages of the pandemic…   Today San Francisco has what is perhaps the most deserted major downtown in America. On any given week, office buildings are at about 40 percent of their prepandemic occupancy, while the vacancy rate has jumped to 24 percent from 5 percent since 2019.   Another major factor is drug addiction. Right now we are witnessing the worst drug crisis in the history of the United States, and it just keeps intensifying every year.   In fact, the number of drug overdose deaths among our teens actually “doubled from 2019 to 2021”…   Drug overdose deaths among US teens doubled from 2019 to 2021 – even as use of illicit substances declined – as fentanyl fueled a nationwide crisis.   The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) reported today that teenage overdoses increased 109 percent over the two years. Deaths caused by fentanyl alone increased 182 percent.   Once upon a time, the United States was such a lovely place to be.   But now our communities are degenerating into rapidly decaying hellholes and our streets are filled with violent predators.   Have you heard about a new trend called “jugging”?   From coast to coast, predators are patiently watching potential victims and they strike as “they juggle smartphones and car keys in parking lots or at home”…   A new crime trend is targeting the distracted and the elderly, with police warning about it from Alabama to California.   The big picture: Jugging involves thieves staking out unsuspecting victims at banks or retail stores before following and robbing them while they juggle smartphones and car keys in parking lots or at home.   But of course not all predators will be satisfied with just robbing you.   When a 20-year-old pregnant woman was taken in by a 36-year-old man after being kicked out of her home, she was initially relieved to have a place to stay.   But that sense of relief didn’t last long…   A 20-year-old pregnant woman was kicked out of her house around Thanksgiving. Her luck appeared to be make a holiday rebound when a stranger offered her a warm meal and a place to stay. However, this was anything but charity.   Michael Barajas, 36, is accused of subjecting the young woman to unimaginable depravities over the course of three weeks.   It turns out that this particular predator actually had his teeth filed down into sharp points.   He literally looks like he is insane, and Genesee County Sheriff Chris Swanson is describing him as “a monster”…   According to the Tri-County Times, Barajas has been charged with human trafficking, kidnapping, first-degree criminal sexual conduct, possession of methamphetamine, assault with a dangerous weapon, assault with intent to do great bodily harm, and felony possession of a firearm.   “This guy is a monster,” said Swanson. “If you look at the teeth that are filed down and the threats of ripping out a throat, I will say no more.”   Anyone with any sense never would have gone with him.   But other predators can look completely innocent.   For example, one 33-year-old man recently thought that he was pulling over to help a woman that was in trouble on the side of the road.   But once he got out of his vehicle, two men jumped out from their hiding spots and viciously attacked him…   Shortly before 11 p.m. on Wednesday, an unnamed 33-year-old man was driving along near the intersection of Hutchinson Road and South George Washington Boulevard, a rather rural area just outside Yuba City, about 40 miles north of Sacramento, when he spotted a woman standing near a black SUV on the side of the road. She flagged the man down, indicating that she was in some kind of distress.   The man pulled over and exited his vehicle to see how he could help. However, once he left his vehicle, two seemingly armed men jumped out of the woman’s SUV. One appeared to have a gun, the other had a knife. Under threat of violence, they zip-tied the driver’s legs together and stole his wallet and car keys. The three con artists then poured gasoline all over the victim and lit him on fire before they left, driving away in their own SUV and taking the victim’s car too.   This is what our country has become.   We are rapidly evolving into a “Mad Max society”, and that is because we have rejected the values that this nation was founded upon.   And if we stay on the path that we are currently on, things are only going to get worse.   Ignoring what is happening is not going to make it go away.   Social decay is systematically eating away at the foundations of our civilization, and at this point America’s decline is really starting to accelerate.

The Christ Child, the One prophesied from ancient days, was born that night. One of His names is Emmanuel, meaning, “God with us.”   The first chapter of the Gospel of John calls Him “the Word.” The first four verses say, “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things were made by Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made. In Him was life, and the life was the light of men.”   Do you see it? This child, this newborn that lay in a box for feeding cows, created the world. He was, and He is, God. And at the same time, He was and is with God. That’s the mystery of the Trinity — one God in three Persons — the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. God the Son entered our world, not in a spaceship, but the way we enter our world, by means of a mother.   The human dilemma is that we stand before a perfectly holy God, and we are sinners. We like to say we are “only human.” But He was human, too — a human with a different nature. He was tempted just as we are, “yet without sin” (Hebrews 4:15). He told us to be as “perfect” as God the Father, but what human can achieve that level of perfection? The answer is the Human who is also God.   Here was God in the flesh fulfilling all righteousness. Then, on the cross, Jesus, the One who knew no sin, took our sin upon Himself so that we could become the very righteousness of God in Christ. (2 Corinthians 5:21)   And that’s why we celebrate. It’s why we give gifts and put colorful lights on houses and trees. His birth, life, death, burial, and resurrection are the reasons why we sing carols and eat feasts. He purchased our redemption. Let us rejoice!   For some, Christmas seems dark. Pain, loneliness, and loss can feel worse against a backdrop of celebration. But the real meaning of Christmas shines even in the deepest gloom. Christ, our Deliverer, has come. Later, He will come again and complete the job of redeeming the earth. But the heaviest lifting of all — our salvation — has already been paid for.   Of all the gifts you have ever received, this one is infinitely bigger and better and brighter than all the rest. God gave His son. There are many great Christmas verses throughout the Bible. But for me, one says it best. It emphasizes God’s gift to the world and to each of us as individuals. We find it in John 3:16.   “For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”

Daily Jot: Finally Wising Up - Bill Wilson – www.dailyjot.com   A recent Kaiser Family Foundation poll may indicate that Americans are finally wising up about the government propaganda over the COVID 19 shot. Against the backdrop of the obvious ongoing government claims that the shot is safe and effective, The KFF December Monitor found that about four in ten (44%) say they do not think they need the updated booster and about a third (37%) say they do not think the benefit is worth it. About a third (36%) say they have been too busy or have not had the time to get it, while about one in four (23%) say they have not gotten the updated booster because they had bad side effects from a previous COVID-19 vaccine dose.   There is also a political divide. Republicans are more likely to refuse the shot than Democrats. KFF noted: “at least six in ten vaccinated Republicans or Republican leaning independents who have not yet gotten the updated booster say they haven’t done so because they don’t think they need it (64%) or do not think the benefit is worth it (61%)… Democrats are three times as likely as Republicans to report having already gotten the updated COVID-19 booster (38% vs. 12%). Notably, about three in ten Republicans say they will only get the updated booster if they are required to do so (12%) or say they will “definitely not” get the new COVID-19 booster dose (18%). A further 37% of Republicans are unvaccinated or only partially vaccinated and therefore not eligible for the new updated COVID-19 booster dose.”   Meanwhile, an FDA study “Surveillance of COVID-19 vaccine safety among elderly persons aged 65 years and older” triggered an early warning threshold of risk for pulmonary embolism. Also showing up as risks, but not triggering an early warning system were acute myocardial infarction, disseminated intravascular coagulation, and immune thrombocytopenia. Despite these results, FDA discounted the risks, saying, “Because an early warning system does not prove that the vaccines cause these outcomes, more robust epidemiologic studies with adjustment for confounding, including age and nursing home residency, are underway to further evaluate these signals.FDA strongly believes the potential benefits of COVID-19 vaccination outweigh the potential risks of COVID-19 infection.”   In other words, FDA is sticking to its political position even though the science raises red flags on blood clots and heart issues. Meanwhile, numerous studies are indicating the shots cause myocarditis, pericarditis, and blood clots that lead to strokes and death. Americans appear to be wising up, even though the government propaganda is steadfast. The divide between Democrats and Republicans extends to the amount of trust in following the government over discernment of the science. Proverbs 10:14 says, “Wise men lay up knowledge, but the mouth of the foolish is near destruction.” To ignore the science after accusing others of ignoring the science, then continue to repeat the “safe and effective” mantra, will lead to destruction. It’s time to wise up.

I honestly think many of us know the Dickens story “A Christmas Carol” more than the story of Mary, Joseph, and the baby Jesus.   It’s possible to lose God in this season. Of course, we can’t really lose God, but we can lose sight of Him. However, He never loses sight of us. He’s constantly thinking about us. We see this exemplified in the blessing God gave the priests to pronounce over the people of Israel: “The Lord bless you and keep you; the Lord make His face shine upon you, and be gracious to you; the Lord lift up His countenance upon you, and give you peace” (Numbers 6:24–26 NKJV).   In the original language, the phrase “the Lord lift up His countenance upon you” means “to look, see, and pay full attention.”   We don’t pay as much attention to each other as we used to. The reason for this is the existence of smartphones. People go out to dinner and spend most of the time staring at their devices. Or they’re out walking their dogs and looking at their phones.   Researchers have found that we have a generation of people who prefer texting to talking. Thus, many of these people might not understand social cues, such as making eye contact or nodding in affirmation when someone’s speaking to them.   That’s not true of God. When we’re talking, God’s listening. He’s taking in every word that we say. He’s very interested. The essential message of Christmas is Immanuel, God with us. We may lose sight of God, but He never loses sight of us.
