THE MODERN ARRIVAL OF NIMROD, DICTATOR OF THE WORLD

4 “And they said, “Come, let us build ourselves a city, and a tower whose top is in the heavens; let us make a name for ourselves, lest we be scattered abroad over the face of the whole earth.”
5 But the LORD came down to see the city and the tower which the sons of men had built.
6, And the LORD said, "Indeed the people are one and they all have one language, and this is what they begin to do; now nothing that they propose to do will be withheld from them.” (Genesis 11:4-6)

In another day and age, there was a demonic dream by a dictator to rule the world. His name was Nimrod and he gathered all the people of the earth on the plain of Shinar to build a tower to reach to heaven. This was after the Noadic flood and man thought they could build a tower higher than any flood and if God brought another one, they would have a tower above the waters. They failed to remember that God said He would not send another flood and put a rainbow in the sky as a promise never to do likewise.

9:11  “Thus I establish My covenant with you: Never again shall all flesh be cut off by the waters of the flood; never again shall there be a flood to destroy the earth.” (Genesis 9:11)

But that really wasn't the real intention of the people during this time. The tower was an afront to God and His command to disperse and repopulate the earth. This was another era that men wanted to stay as one people and with one language and to disobey God's command. And to become a God unto themselves and worship themselves and their dictator who ruled them.

Multiculturalism and Globalization

Fast forward to this generation and the two words that men are promoting, just as Nimrod promoted in this ancient time period is a one world government and a one world religion. Globalization means the destruction of any nation/state that does not  embrace globalization, traitors to the nation of their birth. These individuals have sold their allegiance to foreign powers to absorb their country in a pipe dream, much as Nimrod did in the tower of Babel.

Take the United States for example, we have nothing in common with African nations such as Kenya or Somalia, save they are nations on opposite sides of the planet. But according to the United Nations Globalization Plan, a vote from Washington DC would carry no more weight in decisions affecting foreign policy than a warlord in Africa, whoever the warlord happens to be at any given moment.

In the U.N.'s misguided vision, to promote “good will toward men” wishes that nations in Africa enjoys the same living standard, say of my home state of Missouri, even if it means lowering the living standards of Missouri to be equal to the living standards of Kenya or any other African nation. Both will live in squalor. It will steal from the rich and give to the poor, or so they say.

'Multiculturalism' means having no individual national culture at all.  The UN's vision of multiculturalism demands a common language (other than English, the language of the hated West) something along the lines of Esperanto, a nonsense language made up by globalists so that the whole world can be confused at the same time.



THE U.N.'s NEFARIOUS SCHEME



In the U.N.'s plan on globalization to promote a One World government, they are using the words “globalization and multiculturalism” to disguise a plan to destroy the Western Nations of the world and become the New World Order on the scale of what was envisioned back in the time of Nimrod and the Tower of Babel. 

If you have studied the effects of Agenda 21 that has morphed into Sustainable Development and Agenda 2030 proposed by this international body of misfits, it is designed for all people and nations to become one with a common language and claims of a Utopian society, but in reality it is designed to control every human being on this planet in their buying and selling, their movements, and even their reproduction rates to a “sustainable level” to guard the environment and save the planet. What does that mean?

 It means genocide of all non essential individuals that do not contribute to the well being of the collective society. Meaning the old, the disabled, the mentally challenged, and the inferior races. It is the plan of the Third Reich of Hitler on steroids.



History has a habit of repeating itself, and according to the Bible, the city of Babel on the plains of Shinar was both globalized and was multicultural, in that everybody followed the same leader (can you say Anti-Christ?) and shared the same culture. (Can you say “Mark of the Beast”)

In Genesis chapter 11, gives us a glimpse of both who is behind this globalization/multiculturalism and what its purpose really is.
First, Scripture tells us, "And the whole earth was of one language, and of one speech." It is worthy of note that in the EU's early days, its promotional literature outlined its early goal of 'reversing the Babel Effect.'
This seems ironic, but fascinating as the EU is officially a godless state, but on the other hand, its promotional literature openly mirrors the Bible's story in both its application and its intent.



By application, the residents of Babel, under the sole dictatorship of Nimrod, attempted to circumvent God's judgment by building a tower 'whose top may reach to heaven' as a refuge -- should God again judge the world by flood.

"And the LORD said, Behold, the people is one, and they have all one language; and this they begin to do: and now nothing will be restrained from them, which they have imagined to do." (Genesis 11:6)

 

God was hardly afraid that mankind would challenge His Authority. Rather, He knew they would try and what the solution to such a rebellion would result in. It will result in the whole world being under the sway of the coming Anti-Christ dictatorship. Nimrod and by extension, the Anti-Christ attempts to stand in place of God and the “protector” of the human race. Both men of history of mankind, past and future, want to take the place of God, demanding worship as if they were God. This is the rebellion that God was aware that would happen, if left unchecked.

God intervened by His will, in the historical example of the tower of Babel and confused the languages of those who were in rebellion to His command to scatter and repopulate the earth, and were making themselves a god, in Almighty God's place.

But God doesn't intervene in the Tribulation period to save mankind from himself, the way He did at Babel. At the tower of Babel in Nimrod's time, Jesus had not been crucified on the cross for a choice between good and evil, in shedding His own blood for the payment of mankind's sin. Today, the cross and it's provision of forgiveness of sin by mercy and grace is in place, and God will allow men to reverse the “Babel effect” and let human nature run its course.



The end result will be the same as it would have been at Babel, had God not intervened early and human history would have been cut short on the plains of Shinar.

Thus I firmly believe that this past POTUS Trump, our past USA president, did nothing but throw a wrench (for a short time) into these demonic plans to let all people and nations be ONE and led by one man, which is the Anti-Christ. 

They may not know it yet, but it will come to pass, as God said it would. The elite who think they rule the world have been planning this for over 100 years, or since Woodrow Wilson put in place the Federal Reserve and the League of Nations. Why do you think there was such vitriol and loathing of one man who was POTUS? It is because he was standing in the way of combining all nations, creeds, and tongues into one empire that is an affront to Almighty God. No other president has had to put up with the world trying to bring him down, and promote a Socialist, Communist order with a “Sham of a religion” being what unites them.

 I believe we were given a “reprieve” from the coming New World Order which which was on hold by a "populist" president, only to draw those who will believe that Jesus is the only Way, the Truth and the Life back to God in heaven and repent of their sins, preparing themselves for the coming rapture. Now things all around us are ramping up for that final hour. The world as we know it is in total rebellion and the only thing holding back unimpeded evil, is God's Holy Spirit. As Paul told us:

6 “And now ye know what withholdeth that he might be revealed in his time.
7 For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way.
8 And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming:
9 Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders,
10 And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.
11 And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:
12 That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.” (2nd Thessalonians 2:6-12)

Almighty God, having allowed mankind one last, unimpeded effort at rebellion against His Authority, the Bible says that during the Tribulation the armies of the world will gather for a final battle on the plains of Megiddo during which they will turn their weapons of war against the Creator of the Universe Himself.

"And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon Him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness He doth judge and make war. . . . And I saw the beast, and the kings of the earth, and their armies, gathered together to make war against Him that sat on the horse, and against His army. . . . And the remnant were slain with the sword of Him that sat upon the horse, which sword proceeded out of His Mouth: and all the fowls were filled with their flesh." (Revelation 19:11,19,21)

What does a "Modern Nimrod, King of the earth"  mean? The depravity of mankind virtually SCREAMS “rebellion” while the biblical imagery makes it clear that it is deliberate, it is calculated and it is directed against the God of the Bible. I have people who argue about the coming tribulation and the end of the age, but if what is coming upon the earth is not clear to them and what end time prophecy is addressed to. No amount of logical or scripture persuasion will convince the reprobate mind to understand what God is saying is coming upon the earth. We have signs and seasons and the clear words found in your Bible, that indeed we are living in end of the age of mankind's rule upon this earth.

I call it “willful ignorance” that is a willful and deliberate choice NOT to believe the truth to avoid the conflict of conscience that accepting the truth would demand.
If you go to any Christian forum, you will find many debaters that infiltrate the discussion and try to seize on any inconsistency in the scriptural proof found in God's Word. There is no inconsistency, but in their own minds, to confirm their chosen prospective of self denial and go away comfortable in their unbelief.
If anyone of us look closely at our environment, either politically, physically and most assuredly spiritually, we can see an evil taking over the affairs of this world and its population of earth dwellers.
It is the phenomenon described by the Apostle Paul which comes to fruition following the Rapture, but we can already see it coming together in its final form on this side of the Tribulation Period, we quoted in 2^nd Thessalonians chapter 2 above.

The Anti-Christ is coming and he is standing just off the stage of this world and is not in the spotlight, just yet. But Paul writes when this final “Nimrod” sets up his kingdom of this coming New World Order, he will have the enthusiastic cooperation of the whole world who are ignorant of the dangers of globalization and multiculturalism, blissfully unaware of the demonic deception foisted upon them.
11 “And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:
12 That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.” (2nd Thessalonians 2:11-12)
I see polls where young people are falling for this charade and want nothing but “free stuff” and the charlatans of Socialism will promise them anything until they have put chains around their necks and hands. These are those who were not taught what the God of the Bible expects or have come to belief in Jesus Christ, the Only Begotten Son of God. Their parents failed them miserably and they are the ones who believe the coming lie or delusion.
The mystery of iniquity is already at work, and so is the BIG LIE. But still there are scoffers, just as the Apostle Peter wrote about:

"Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts, And saying, Where is the promise of His coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation." (2nd Peter 3:4)

Peter makes it plain that the reason for their unbelief is a willing ignorance born out of their lust for the things of the world and their choice NOT to believe, no matter how strong the evidence.
Peter cites the historical precedent that, several generations later, led to Nimrod's aborted Tower of Babel in the first place, bringing this generation's effort to undo the Babel Effect full circle:

"For this they willingly are ignorant of, that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of the water and in the water: Whereby the world that then was, being overflowed with water, perished7 But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men. ." (2nd Peter 3:6-7)

THE NEW WORLD ORDER IS ON THE HORIZON

I find is amazing and it has to be God's timing, that this lurch forward to the New World Order has been put on hold. Note the news that our past POTUS pulled the USA from the Paris accord that the last POTUS, I call the “idiot in chief” got us into. But now we have "sleepy Joe" who is nothing but a puppet doing the will of those really in power. Climate change is a bizarre attempt to take the bogus claim of man made climate change and turn it into a NEW WORLD ORDER called Sustainable Development, with all nations being equal and the destruction of the western way of life, that the world is jealous of and desires our downfall.
OH, it will come, but we pray we were given a reprieve, for a time, from the evil desires of One World Government proponents that are headed by the richest and most powerful individuals in the world. Some call them Illuminati, or Bilderberg Groups that have a globalist visions of grandeur to their demonic plans for the world's Utopian society. When will it come? I make a prediction, and it's set in stone.

THE RISE OF THE ANTI-CHRIST

In Revelation, we see in the throne of God, a scroll handed to the Lamb of God, who opens each seal. Thus begins the wrath of Almighty God upon the earth.

“And I saw when the Lamb opened one of the seals, and I heard, as it were the noise of thunder, one of the four beasts saying, Come and see.
2 And I saw, and behold a white horse: and he that sat on him had a bow; and a crown was given unto him: and he went forth conquering, and to conquer.” (Revelation 6:1-2)

In the following verses, each horse of the four horseman of the apocalypse rides bringing destruction upon the earth. This is the Wrath of God. Some will in error, postulate that this is the doing of Satan and it is his wrath upon the earth. But note who is opening the seals of the scroll? It is the Lamb of God, Jesus the Christ, who makes these events happen. He uses each of these horses riders to enact judgment upon this rebellious earth, much as He used men to bring Israel to judgment by using Assyria and Babylon to bring justice to those who have forsaken Him. God will use Satan and the evil intent of men's heart to begin His act of judgment and wrath upon the earth.
As chapter 6 unfolds, the men of the earth know who is bringing judgments upon them, as it is quite obvious that it is Divine in nature.

15 “And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman, and every free man, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains;
16 And said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb:
17 For the great day of his wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand?” (Revelation 6:15-17)

There is NO question in their minds, who is responsible for this destruction. God's wrath has begun and as the chapter continue the judgments only gets worse by each chapter. This New World Order is going to be judged and those who follow the modern “NIMROD” the Anti-Christ will be found doomed in their rebellion. Two things will happen in this coming horror that comes upon the earth.

-Israel will be refined as silver is refined in the furnace. (Malachi 3:3)
-all rebellion upon this earth will be extinguished.

“Behold, the whirlwind of the Lord goes forth with fury, a continuing whirlwind; it will fall violently on the head of the wicked. The fierce anger of the Lord will not return until He has done it, and until He has performed the intents of His heart. In the latter days you will consider it.” (Jeremiah 30:23-24)19”


Thy dead men shall live, together with my dead body shall they arise. Awake and sing, ye that dwell in dust: for thy dew is as the dew of herbs, and the earth shall cast out the dead.20 Come, my people, enter thou into thy chambers, and shut thy doors about thee: hide thyself as it were for a little moment, until the indignation be overpast.
21 For, behold, the Lord cometh out of his place to punish the inhabitants of the earth for their iniquity: the earth also shall disclose her blood, and shall no more cover her slain.”(Isaiah 26:19-21)



A clear passage describing the rapture and the beginning of God's wrath upon the earth, if there ever was one, this one describes it in 3 short verses of what will come upon the earth to the total horror of all who live during this hour of Tribulation.


19 “And the angel thrust in his sickle into the earth, and gathered the vine of the earth, and cast it into the great winepress of the wrath of God.
20 And the winepress was trodden without the city, and blood came out of the winepress, even unto the horse bridles, by the space of a thousand and six hundred furlong” (Revelation 14:19-20)



Can you imagine this amount of blood that covers the whole valley of Megiddo for 180-200 miles or so, as deep as the bridle of a horse!! That's called righteous indignation, and total slaughter of those in rebellion.

This is the final judgment on this demonic “New World Order” when God will pass His fiery indignation upon those who have followed this new Nimrod, the Anti-Christ.

9 “And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand,
10 The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb:
11 And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name.”(Revelation 14:9-11)


A LIFE LINE IS THROWN TO US IN THIS AGE OF GRACE


Make no mistake, what I have written and confirmed from the pages of God's Word will definitely come to pass. This world will be judged. This NEW WORLD ORDER will be decimated and those who follow this modern Nimrod, this last dictator of the world or the false Christ who demands worship of himself. Those that do will be thrown alive into the Lake of Fire burning with sulfur and brimstone.

From this judgment there is no escape, forever and ever. Those who pass from this Age of Grace, while the Holy Spirit is still convicting men of their sins, into the Age of the Law, the time of Jacob's trouble, known as the Tribulation, and then the Great Tribulation will have their metal tested like they have never been tested before. In all likelihood, many will succumb to staying alive for even a short while, and worship this demonic despot to their own destruction. 

Those who don't will be martyrs for the cause of Christ, by not taking the “mark of the Beast” and will loose their heads. How can I give you the vision of what a horrible, devastating time this period will be to all human beings alive that are so unfortunate to have to endure such a time that Jesus said :



“21, For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.
22, And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened.” (Matthew 24:21-22)



I can only paint you a word picture, but the reality of this time will be 1000 times worse than I can explain. But there is a lifeline that is still in force right now, as this very moment:

“15 That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life.
16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.
18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.” (John 3:15-18)



“8 But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach;
9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
11 For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.
12 For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him.
13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.
” (Romans 10:8-13)



“Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. “ (John 14:6)



Who is the Way, the Truth and the Life? Jesus is the man/God who died on a cross for you, and for me, so that we would not have to experience this coming time of extreme death and suffering. Repent of your sins and ask Jesus to come into your heart and life, and make Him Lord with what life we have left upon this earth. Make your decision for Jesus Christ, or be ready for the destruction that will be found in the coming revealing of earth's last dictator, the Modern Nimrod, the Anti-Christ.

DESTRUCTION OF MANKIND IN THE LAST DAYS, part 2

6 “And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.

7 For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places.

8 All these are the beginning of sorrows.” (Matthew 24:6-8)

Everyone that is alive in this hour of the last days of man-kind's last gasp of ruling themselves, can see the chaos that is virtually enveloping this world. If it hasn't hit you directly, you may know someone who has felt the upheaval that is coming upon this world, and the neighborhood around you. Be it either natural environmental disasters, flooding, earthquakes, volcanoes that have come awake all up and down the Pacific coastlines and elsewhere, raging fires that are out of control in California or other states in the western section of the USA, or see the wars that have broken out in the Middle East, Russia and Ukraine, China and Taiwan, and future wars between Gaza and Israel and the threat of wars that could effect every man and women on this planet. Not to mention the coming war between Iran and Israel when Israel destroys their nuclear facilities. Each of these could lead to nuclear exchanges and world wide war that will kill millions, if not billions of people, which I believe will happen in the coming Tribulation.

But past Revelation chp. 6, God gets directly involved with wrath and plagues on this earth and not millions, but multiple billions die. From scripture, God will nearly wipe this planet clean of all who have not believed in God's only Son, Jesus Christ. Looking at Revelation, from verse 1 of chp.6, God has used men to hate one another and come against each other to destroy each other, much as God used Assyria and Babylon to punish Israel for their idolatry. These wars may engulf this entire planet with nuclear weapons killing millions. None of this is for the Bride of Christ, His church will not see, but it is prophesied that it will happen. As Jesus told us in Matthew 24:

21 "For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.

22 And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened." (Matthew 24:21-22) 

The elect are the Jewish people who have been divinely protected in Petra and those who have escaped the onslaught of the Anti-Christ that wants to destroy all who will not worship him and Satan.

But with all this surrounding us and many that are in fear of what is coming upon the earth, it is good to step back and survey the surrounding landscape of historical details along with current events that can only be related to Bible prophecy that is being fulfilled in these last days. Let us, for a moment, consider the awesomeness of this big picture that is coming quickly into clearer view.

UNDERSTANDING WHERE WE ARE IN PROPHECY

For two thousand years, since the ascension of our Lord Jesus Christ to the right hand of God our Father, mankind or the generations of those who put their faith in our Savior, have looked expectantly at the clouds and believed that they would see the coming of our Lord in their generation.

There have been so many signs that points to the nearness of Jesus return for His church, that people have become almost complacent with the routine they have seen down through times past. Many disbelieving people who scoffed at the very idea of the Lord's return came to believe He wasn't coming at all.

2- “That ye may be mindful of the words which were spoken before by the holy prophets, and of the commandment of us the apostles of the Lord and Saviour:

3- Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts,

4- And saying, Where is the promise of his coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation.” (2nd Peter 3:2-4)

Those of us who are living in this generation of the last days are eyewitnesses to events for which the ancient prophets had no words to describe, but can only be decipherable to that generation that lives in it. To the prophets, to them it was “somewhere in time”.

DANIEL'S VISION OF THE FUTURE

For example, the prophet Daniel was so confused by what he witnessed, and so unsure of how to describe it in words that made sense, that he actually complained to God's Messenger about it:

"8 And I heard, but I understood not: then said I, O my Lord, what shall be the end of these things?

9- And he said, Go thy way, Daniel: for the words are closed up and sealed till the time of the end.
10 Many shall be purified, and made white, and tried; but the wicked shall do wickedly: and none of the wicked shall understand; but the wise shall understand."(Daniel 12:8-10)

Just try and see it from Daniel's perspective. He had just absorbed a vision of Israel's future, divided into seventy weeks of years.

God revealed to Daniel the rise and fall of four successive world empires; Babylon, Medo-Persia, Greece, and Rome. Much of Daniel's vision would have been somewhat familiar; the mechanics of government and technology of war didn't change that much from the 5th century BC to the 1st century AD.

But Daniel's vision took a hard right turn following the 'cutting off of the Messiah.'

26 “And after threescore and two weeks shall Messiah be cut off, but not for himself: and the people of the prince that shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary; and the end thereof shall be with a flood, and unto the end of the war desolations are determined.”(Daniel 9:26)

The Messenger of God jumped from the fifth century BC to somewhere in the 21^st Century when Jerusalem would be sacked and the temple destroyed in 70AD by Titus and then jumping forward near 2000 years to the confirmation of a seven year treaty between the many nations and the coming Anti-Christ and the start of the Tribulation period of 7 years, or Daniel's 70^th week.

Daniel had seen things that staggered him so much he didn't know where to begin.

Consider the angel's reply carefully:

"And he said, Go thy way, Daniel: for the words are closed up and sealed till the time of the end." (Daniel 12:8-9)

There is a principle in Bible scriptures that dictates that God doesn't repeat Himself unnecessarily, but has a purpose if He does. If God tells you something twice, then it is really important and those who read it should really take notice, as God wants you to get what He is saying.

That is the case here. Earlier, Daniel had voiced a similar complaint, and the angel had already told him:

"But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end," but in more detail, adding that, 'in the time of the end', "many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased." (Daniel 12:4)

The visions were so complex that the prophet was left near speechless to understand what it was he was being shown. This is the same man, who was so in tune with the Mind of God that he could divine and interpret dreams, but this vision was designed only for the generation that would actually live it and see its fulfillment.

As mentioned, each generations has watched for signs of the times that pointed to the imminent return of our Lord, but they all lacked one thing. That one thing will be mentioned further in this message.

Take for example, the Church at Thessalonica that was so convinced that the Day of the Lord was upon them, and that they had missed the rapture of the Church and were sore afraid. Paul had to comfort them and tell them what the signs would be before the coming Day of the Lord, and they were not living in it yet.

 “Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together unto him,

2 That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand.
3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;
4 Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.
5 Remember ye not, that, when I was yet with you, I told you these things?” (2nd Thessalonians 2:1-5

But the angel that came to Daniel said that the signs of the times would only be understandable to those who were actually living in that particular time of the generation of the end. The Greek word translated as "falling away" is the word "apostasia" in verse 3 above or the term apostasy comes from the Greek word apostasia ("ἀποστασία") meaning "defection", "departure", "revolt", or "rebellion", so in the words of Paul, this word means a "departure" or rapture.

KNOWLEDGE VS. WISDOM

There is a world of difference between 'knowledge' and 'wisdom'. One can have great wisdom without much knowledge. Some of the wisest men I ever knew had little or no education. But it is equally true that you can have a tremendous amount of knowledge but have no wisdom, but is known to have book smarts, but no common “horse sense”. I've known many just such as I describe.

The bookstores are full of examples of Ph.Ds who have dedicated themselves to proving just that and it fills our universities of those who have knowledge but very little wisdom.

Wisdom and knowledge is what Daniel was seeking when he made inquiries of the Angel Gabriel, which is who the Bible says was sent.

Indeed, the angel Gabriel went on to say;

"Many shall be purified, and made white, and tried; but the wicked shall do wickedly: and none of the wicked shall understand; but the wise shall understand." (Daniel 12:10)

The Proverbs of Solomon explain 'understanding' as an equation that could be expressed this way: "wisdom plus knowledge equals understanding."

"The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom: and the knowledge of the holy is understanding." (Proverbs 9:10)

That is the whole purpose of the Proverbs;

"To know wisdom and instruction; to perceive the words of understanding." (Proverbs 1:2)

Daniel was a very wise man, but he had nothing to compare the revelation he was receiving to what was evident in his world at the time and had no understanding of what was being revealed. It left him totally confused, but to write what was seen, as the understanding of this knowledge was not for him, but for another time. I believe it was for our time in the generation we are now living.

THE BIG PICTURE

As we look around us and try to understand what is happening and the Big Picture, it comes down to the sign that Jesus told us would be the sign of the last generation. That is what was lacking of all past generations...the rebirth of Israel.

32” Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When his branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is nigh:

33 So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors.
34 Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled.
35 Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.
36 But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.
37 But as the days of Noah were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. (Matthew 24:32-37)

It began when, for the first time since the times of Daniel, there is, in this generation, a political and national entity called "Israel" composed of Daniel's people and living in Daniel's city.

24 “Seventy weeks are determined upon thy people and upon they holy city to finish the transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up the vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most Holy.”(Daniel 9:24)

The first four have been completed at the cross of our Lord Jesus, but we wait anxiously for the last two to be completed...that will happen when Jesus returns to rule and reign for 1000 years.

From the day that Israel was reborn it was unheard of for a nation to be reborn in just one day, but was prophesied that it would happen just that way when Israel would, against all odds, be reborn once again in one day.

8 “Who hath heard such a thing? who hath seen such things? Shall the earth be made to bring forth in one day? or shall a nation be born at once? for as soon as Zion travailed, she brought forth her children.” (Isaiah 66:8)

But on 14 May 1948, the countdown clock began ticking down. As the prophecy spoken of by Jesus came to pass, and as I have mentioned in many messages past, Israel is the door to end time prophecy, and Jerusalem is the key to that door. God made a promise to the Prophet Daniel, and God keeps His promises. As noted, the Messiah was cut off after 483 years of a 490 year prophecy that still has 7 remaining years for the prophecy to be completed. That clock is now ticking away. But one doesn't need only to judge by the “fig Tree” of Matthew 24's prophecy to make that point. The point makes it all by itself. Virtually every major component of Bible prophecy makes the Big Picture by tracing it to this point in modern history.

Many things are linked with the restoration of the nation of Israel and it all began in the same year of 1948.

-The war on terrorism and the rise of Muslim atrocities began in 1948 and continues to the present time.

-The prophesied coming of the Anti-Christ began with the destruction of Jerusalem and the burning of the Temple, and those legions of the Roman Empire as spoken of in Daniel 9:27 .

-Those “people” became the modern version of the Roman Empire in 1948 when the European Union was formed out of the Benelux Treaty.

-The current East/West geopolitical alignment in the Middle East is a direct result of the US/Soviet Cold War which officially kicked off with the 1948 Berlin Airlift.

-The first Constitution for a global government, the Universal Declaration of Rights and Freedoms was ratified by the UN Member States in 1948.

-The General Agreement on Tariffs and Trade (GATT) Treaty establishing global economic policy rules (and ultimately evolving into the World Trade Organization) was signed and ratified by the UN in 1948.

-The World Council of Churches was established under UN auspices in Amsterdam in August, 1948.

-China and Taiwan were divided by the 1947-1948 Communist takeover of the mainland, giving birth to the inscrutable People's Republic of China.

-Muslim Pakistan broke from newly independent India in 1948, creating the Islamic republic that ultimately gave the world the first Islamic Bomb, the Taliban and Osama bin Laden.

This is all historical facts that anyone can point to that speaks of the co-ordination by Divine authority to put in place the final actors on the world stage to wind down this generation that we are living in. But if a person does not have “wisdom” then the knowledge of these historical events mean nothing to them in the Big Picture that God is orchestrating to come to pass to bring His will into being completed.

When Jesus said that “this generation will not pass till all be fulfilled” We must re-emphasize what a generation is. The Psalms in chapter 90 says that a generation is 70 years, and 80 years by strength, then we fly away. So when in 1948, that timeclock of 70 years began for a generation born would see all things be fulfilled. And this year in May will be 74 years since Israel was reborn. It means that on the outside of 80+/- years, Jesus could be back on this earth, reigning and ruling for a thousand years. But a Tribulation of 7 years could happen between now and that end time of 80 plus years, somewhere of what was written of a generation in the Psalms. If the tribulation is that close, then the removal of the Church is even closer. This is the picture we see, and it remains to be seen when and how the generation of the Lord's return plays out according to God's plan and not ours. God gave us a general time frame.

What the secular world sees, being devoid of understanding, is chaos, terror and upheaval of this world all around them. This lack of understanding breeds nothing but fear, as the world doesn't know what is happening, but the minute you start to tell them what is happening on God's Time Clock, then that is when they begin to shut you out or flee from your presence and label you a “prophecy nut”

But remember in the first destruction of this planet that was flooded over with a deluge of water, Noah preached for 120 years without a single convert. I would call that most discouraging. So it is with the day that we live in, as men scoff at the idea that the end of this age is close at hand, they close their minds and their hearts to the reality of what is actually happening. Although they have knowledge of the events, they have not wisdom that leads to understanding. We as “watchman on the wall” see the sword coming, and we are commanded to warn the people. As it is written in Ezekiel:

3 “If when he seeth the sword come upon the land, he blow the trumpet, and warn the people;
4 Then whosoever heareth the sound of the trumpet, and taketh not warning; if the sword come, and take him away, his blood shall be upon his own head.

5 He heard the sound of the trumpet, and took not warning; his blood shall be upon him. But he that taketh warning shall deliver his soul.

6 But if the watchman see the sword come, and blow not the trumpet, and the people be not warned; if the sword come, and take any person from among them, he is taken away in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at the watchman's hand.” (Ezekiel 33:3-6)



So we continue to warn the people, to give them knowledge, to hopefully produce wisdom and to lead them to understanding. We know not all will listen. But if only one comes to the understanding and escapes what is coming upon the earth known as the Tribulation, then that soul is priceless in the eyes of God. Our work is for even that one who believes, but we pray for more.

Conclusion:

So, in this message, I think it is good to step back once in a while and drink in the awesomeness of the events to which we are now almost daily witnesses of.

As we see the hand of God moving directly in the affairs of this World to fulfill His Word in this generation, then our individual setbacks pale in comparison.

We all should be encouraged to know that God is in control and that His Word will NOT come back to Him void.

“So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.” (Isaiah 55:11)

RECEIVING ETERNAL REWARDS

It is encouraging to know that those who look for the Glorious Appearing of our Lord and Savior will receive a special crown, a “crown of righteousness” that is reserved in heaven for all who have believed by faith and followed our Lord Jesus and seek to do His will in this time of the last generation. Paul speaks of this special crown that is reserved for the Children of God:

8” Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.” (2^nd Timothy 4:8)

Even more encouraging words are spoken by Titus in chapter 2 that believers should not be quaking in fear of what is coming upon the earth, but we are looking for that “Blessed Hope” which is Christ, the Lord.

13 Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ;

14 Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.

Looking at the signs of the times is terrifying. Understanding the times of the signs means a 'crown of righteousness' and represents our 'blessed hope'-- the soon Rapture of the Church.

Still, it is natural to feel a sense of fear, as after all, we all want to go to heaven, but none of us want to hasten that process by dying. It is as the old saying goes “everyone wants to go to heaven, but nobody wants to die”. It's a natural human response that is fueled by the sympathetic nervous system, of the “fight or flight” desire to preserve life at any cost. But being fearful at times is not a sign of a lack of faith, it is a sign of being human.

Paul explains that we are dual-natured creatures, part carnal and part spiritual, so it is not disloyal (or schizophrenic) to be afraid with the natural part and overjoyed at its spiritual implications.

That is what 'understanding' is all about.

6 “Wherein ye greatly rejoice, though now for a season, if need be, ye are in heaviness through manifold temptations:

7 That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ:
8 Whom having not seen, ye love; in whom, though now ye see him not, yet believing, ye rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory:
9 Receiving the end of your faith, even the salvation of your souls.” (1st Peter 1:6-9)

LET ME ASK YOU A PERSONAL QUESTION.

Are you afraid of what is coming upon this earth? Are you fearful that your family could be swept away, or that death could be right around the corner for you or any of your loved ones? With all the violence even now in our schools, on the streets and businesses, even our government, I don't blame you. It is entirely human to fear something you don't have understanding of.

To be afraid of evil men who want to destroy the innocent lives around them is totally human but is devoid of Godly faith. Because you have nothing that you can hold onto and take courage that Jesus is the answer to that fear...For it is written:

7 “For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.” (2nd Timothy 1:7)


The whole world knows that something “BIG” is coming. Those who have nothing to place their anchor in are fearful of what is coming. They can see how the world is starting to implode upon itself, and evil is growing unabated and it is right on our front doors steps of even this country.


Men's hearts are failing them for what is coming upon the earth. But if you think it is fearful now, just wait, if you be so unfortunate, to see what WILL come upon the earth in possibly a few short years.


“And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring;
26 Men's hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken.” (Luke 21:25-26)
Men and women can't explain what is coming, they just have knowledge, but no wisdom or understanding of what God said would happen in these last days.


A time of terrible suffering is fast approaching this world, even to the shores of this once great country known as the USA, which may not be so great in the time that is still to play out.


“Blow ye the trumpet in Zion, and sound an alarm in my holy mountain: let all the inhabitants of the land tremble: for the day of the Lord cometh, for it is nigh at hand;
2 “ A day of darkness and of gloominess, a day of clouds and of thick darkness, as the morning spread upon the mountains: a great people and a strong; there hath not been ever the like, neither shall be any more after it, even to the years of many generations.” (Joel 2:1-2)
21 “For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.
22 And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened.” (Matthew 24:21-22)



A time that anyone who has wisdom coupled with knowledge will receive understanding and turn to the only Source of not being afflicted with this time called Jacob's Trouble. It is calculated that during the time that is fast approaching 80%+ of all man-kind left on earth will be destroyed. That is 5-6 billion people in 7 short years. Will you be amongst those who meet an untimely death and devoid of any hope for eternity? Many people will miss this coming span of death and destruction, but many people will endure this intense suffering and most assuredly death from something none of us want to think about. But make no mistake, it is coming. Jesus is coming, and His wrath will fall on all who have not believed the following verses and confessed who Jesus is in their lives.



16 “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.
18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.” (John 3:16-18)



8 “But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach;
9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
11 For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.” (Romans 10:8-11)
