PROPHECY UPDATE ................8/27/2022

More Tisha B’Av Rapture Thoughts - By Gary W. Ritter - https://www.raptureready.com/2022/08/23/more-tisha-bav-rapture-thoughts-by-gary-w-ritter/

The potential for the Rapture of the church to occur on the Jewish day of mourning known as Tisha B’Av, i.e., the 9th day of the month of Av, has become a topic of much interest lately among pre-Trib Rapture adherents. After reading a couple of well-written discussions on this subject, I figured I might as well accept the challenge and weigh in since I have a different perspective.

In his terrific article titled A Pattern with a Hole, Greg Lauer postulated that the destruction of Israel’s two prior temples indicates a pattern that may apply prophetically in the near term to the Rapture. His basic premise is that God brought about the demise of the First Temple at the hands of the Babylonians following Israel’s rebellion against God through widespread idolatry. In the case of the Second Temple, the Jews turned the Word of God into a legalistic religious observation and rejected their Messiah by crucifying Him. For this great sin of grieving the Holy Spirit, God enabled the Romans to destroy Herod’s temple and eventually allowed the nation of Israel to be lost completely.

The hole that Lauer sees is that the Jews have failed to repent of these past transgressions and have even become jealous of what God has accomplished through the Gentiles, despite in His Word saying He would raise them up in His Name. There is no existing physical temple, yet judgment is coming to Israel soon through the Great Tribulation. What is the temple that fills the void in the pattern? As Greg confirms, the bodies of Spirit-filled believers are the temple of the Holy Spirit. It’s not destruction of this temple, per se, but our Rapture that eliminates it from the earth and paves the way for Israel’s punishment.

Pete Garcia added his thoughts on this topic in an article titled Tish B’Av Rapture? He wisely consulted some discerning, theologically astute friends who commented on the notion. With those added inputs, Garcia diagramed what Lauer outlined and concluded that the strongest argument for a Tisha B’Av Rapture is the additional pattern of how the Holy Spirit fits into the scheme. Temple 1 is associated with the Father; Temple 2 is connected with Jesus the Son. What happens in the Rapture? The Holy Spirit steps aside in the earth through the removal of God’s true children. When we’re snatched away by Christ in the clouds, the Man of Lawlessness can be revealed, which will lead to terrible persecution of the Jews. Thus, believers with the indwelling Holy Spirit are effectively Temple 3 and the hole which is filled in this pattern. Father, Son, and Holy Spirit all play an integral part in this narrative.

The other aspect of much interest in this discussion is the dates on which the 9th of Av in the Jewish calendar fall on our Gregorian calendar. When Greg and Pete wrote their articles on August 6-7, 2022, this year’s candidate for the Rapture was still upcoming. Sadly, we’ve now gone past that date. The next three possible dates in this regard are:

  • July 26-27, 2023
  • August 12-13, 2024
  • August 2-3, 2025

Several months ago, I wrote my speculations on Tribulation timing being tied to Agenda 2030 and the Jewish Shemitah. Based on what I laid out, any of these upcoming dates could certainly be The One, i.e., the day of the Rapture. However, my thinking on our translation from this alien world pertains to the church as the Bride of Christ and how a Galilean wedding works to model that. I laid this out in another recent post that provides this summary of events based on the four steps involved in such a wedding:

  1. The father of the groom makes the arrangements.
  2. After a period of time, the groom fetches his bride under two conditions:
  3. The father determines the timing.
  4. The groom has prepared a place for himself and his bride at his father’s house.
  5. Prior to the wedding ceremony – to which few would be invited – the bride undergoes a ritual cleansing.
  6. The marriage feast occurs with many more people invited.

For our purposes, point #2 is critical. The father – God the Father in our case – is the One calling the shots. He has no obligation to correlate His telling the Son when to get His Bride with any Jewish feast or other ritual days. He might. He could. But there’s no direct tie-in with this scenario.

What about the pattern that Lauer so eloquently discussed? First, it’s a very cool theory. He might be right, and what I say next could absolutely be incorrect. As Pete says in his conclusion echoing Greg: We simply can’t know definitively. Thus, when I throw out my ideas, they’re as speculative as all the rest.

For this, we need to zero in on the Third Temple. We know for a fact that one will be built. Daniel 9:27 confirms this:

“And he shall make a strong covenant with many for one week, and for half of the week he shall put an end to sacrifice and offering. And on the wing of abominations shall come one who makes desolate, until the decreed end is poured out on the desolator.”

In order for “he,” i.e., Antichrist, to end sacrifice, there must be a temple in which to perform those oblations. This verse gives us some strong words: abominations and makes desolate. According to Strong’s Concordance, abominations is the Hebrew word shiqquts (#8251). It is a detested thing. The Hebrew for the term makes desolate in Strong’s is shamen (#8074). It generally means to be desolated or appalled.

The most common understanding of the abomination is that Antichrist, emulating Antiochus Epiphanes in the Maccabean period, will enter the temple and perhaps sacrifice a pig on the altar as he proclaims himself as god. From there, we have no further indication of what happens with the temple.

Discerning Jews flee just as Jesus warns them to do in Matthew 24:15-21. It is at this point that the Great Tribulation judgment comes upon Israel, and the temple is seemingly forgotten.

Here’s where I go out on the limb. Another meaning of the Hebrew shamen is to be made waste or ruined. What if… Antichrist destroys the temple after he’s made it an abomination? He knows the Jews will no longer use it, and he certainly has no reason to keep it around.

Just as with the First and Second Temples that are destroyed and mark the beginning of judgment, perhaps the Third Temple is likewise demolished. Its end serves the same purpose of demonstrating God’s wrath on Israel and the persecution of the Great Tribulation that comes next. The Holy Spirit remains present to rescue those who turn to Jesus in faith during these awful years. Thus, the pattern is completed, and the hole in it is filled.

In this circumstance, there’s no direct temple connection with the Rapture, which makes that event possible on any given day that the Father determines. The wedding symbology remains intact, and the 9th of Av is – on the surface in this case – another day of mourning.

One other point that Greg Lauer made was that the Rapture occurring on the coincident day of the other temples being destroyed, i.e., Tisha B’Av, awakens Israel to God’s spiritual hand upon them. I’m not so sure the Jews would make that connection. However, what we do know is that the Gog-Magog war of Ezekiel 38-39 surely wakes Israel to that fact. Scripture tells us that Israel is completely helpless in the face of that attack – rightly so in order for God to receive all the glory for the astounding, supernatural victory.

I think it’s this conflict that opens Israel’s spiritual eyes early in the Tribulation – perhaps as part of Seal Judgment #1. In fact, if the Bill Salus Alternative View is in play, the initial five Seals would be opened after the Rapture, but actually before the official beginning of the Tribulation through the confirmation of the Daniel 9:27 covenant agreement.

Whatever is the impetus behind the building of the Third Temple, because so many in Israel will be desirous of worshiping the God who rescued them from sure destruction, Ezekiel’s War appears to me to be the source of the Jews’ spiritual revival.

Thankfully, all this will be well in our rearview mirror as we enjoy the miracles of our glorified bodies and the consummation of our betrothal to our heavenly Bridegroom.

For those remaining on earth, they can only take hope in Jesus’ promise of Matthew 24:22:

“And if those days had not been cut short, no human being would be saved. But for the sake of the elect those days will be cut short.”

Our God is merciful. He has given us a way out – an early exit from the horror to come. What a joy it is to know the Lord Jesus and to place our faith and trust in Him!

Mideast Review: World Prepares To Unleash Iran – Amir Tsarfati - https://harbingersdaily.com/mideast-review-w-amir-tsarfati-world-prepares-to-unleash-iran/

Iran has placed themselves in the forefront of the news. They are on the threshold of a new nuclear deal which former Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu told Fox News yesterday is far worse than the 2015 version. Europe is desperate for energy sources separate from Russia; thus they are ready to accept the demands of Iran. They don’t care if the country goes nuclear. The bombs likely won’t be coming their way. The US is ready to drop almost all sanctions, which will put billions of dollars into the pockets of the Islamist regime in Tehran. The Republican Party has already announced that it will immediately cancel any agreement with Iran if they get back in power after the November elections. It remains to be seen, however, if the votes go their way, and if they’ll have the follow-through to do it. Ultimately, it’s all moot anyway. As I’ve said for a long time, Iran already has everything they need to make a bomb. It’s just a matter of whether they decide to do it.

The expansion of Iranian-proxy militias around Israel is growing. In the north, they are in Lebanon and Syria. In the east, they are in Iraq and Iran. To the south, they are in Gaza and Yemen. Iran opposition groups are reporting that the country is establishing a new military base called Malek al-Ashtar in the Daraa Governorate of Syria much too close to the Israeli border. Now Iran has begun arming militant Palestinians in the West Bank. “In the same way that the Gaza Strip was armed, the West Bank can also be armed and this process is happening,” said chief commander of Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) Major General Hossein Salami. The only factor that is slowing this expansion is Israel’s constant strikes at the militias’ weapons and infrastructures.

Much of the weaponry with which Iran is arming their militias comes from their store of hundreds of thousands of rockets. Hezbollah and other proxy militias in Syria have over 150,000 rockets. Hamas in Gaza has 10,000. Yemen has tens of thousands. Many of these rockets are cheap and not very accurate, and the Iron Dome is equipped to deal with them. However, there are also thousands of ballistic missiles that are pointed at Israel. The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) are nearing completion of a new laser system that will be able to deal with many of these threats. But even when this new system is ready, if all these militias begin raining down their rocket arsenals at once, it could be devastating to Israel.

As Iran continues to deepen relationships with its proxy terrorists, they also are getting closer to a much bigger fish. One of the biggest allies and customers of Iran is now Russia. Beyond Iran selling drones and training the Russian army in how to use them, new behind-the-scenes deals are being set up for Russian oil. Fully expecting sanctions on Tehran to be lifted with a new nuclear deal, Moscow is planning on using Iran to bust their own sanctions by selling Russian oil through Iranian channels. This is bad news for Ukraine. It is also bad news for Israel, as Russia is strengthening their rhetoric toward Israeli actions against their friend Iran’s proxy militias. Said Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, “We strongly condemned the dangerous practice of Israeli strikes on Syrian territory.”

The US carried out airstrikes against Iranian proxy militias in Deir ez-Zor, Syria, in response to a drone attack against American forces on August 15. “Today’s strikes were necessary to protect and defend U.S. personnel,” said spokesman Army Colonel Joe Buccino. Meanwhile, Iran continues to attack the US through its proxies, striking two American bases in Syria just yesterday. Just to make sure you understand – Iran is hitting the US through their proxies, while the US is striking back against those proxies while letting Iran completely off the hook. Unbelievable!

Syrian and Iranian forces and U.S. backed SDF battled each other up in the north of Syria resulting in a market being shelled in the city of Al-Bab. Civilian casualties included 14 dead, five of which were children, and at least 30 wounded.

Hezbollah continues to threaten violence against Israel if the Karish oil rig begins operation. This is a flashpoint that could escalate quickly.

Ukraine’s Independence Day yesterday also marked six months since Russia invaded the nation. The military and civilian casualties continue to mount as Vladimir Putin stubbornly continues his prosecution of the war. The current hot spot is Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant. Under Russian control from early in the war, Ukraine is fearful of battling to gain the plant back. An improperly aimed shell could have disastrous effects.

Darya Dugina was killed in a car bomb outside Moscow Saturday night. Her father, philosopher Aleksandr Dugin, a man known as “Putin’s brain”, was supposed to be in the car with her, before deciding to travel separately at the last moment. The woman the Russians say carried out the assassination is Natalya Vovk, a citizen of Ukraine and member of the Ukrainian special operations Azov Regiment. Currently, she is in Estonia, and Russia is threatening a military response if Estonia does not capture her and extradite her to Moscow. Some, however, are accusing Putin of carrying out this murder as a false flag against Ukraine after Dugin recently made some harsh remarks against the Russian president.

Even as Turkey’s inflation skyrocketed to 80%, it’s currency plunged on Friday to an all-time low. An economically desperate Turkey is a dangerous entity, and the world best keep its eyes on Erdogan and his government.

Each day in the waters and the air around Taiwan there are incursions by Chinese planes and warships. This is a powder keg that can go off at any moment.

Japan is weighing the wisdom of stockpiling 1000 cruise missiles within 1000 km of China and North Korea. This would place both belligerent countries within range of Japan’s arsenal in case of hostilities.

Terrorist militants with ties to al Qaeda took control of the Hayat Hotel in Mogadishu, Somalia, last Friday. By the time the 30-hour ordeal was over at least 21 people were dead and more than 117 were injured. Four of the assailants were killed. However, it is unclear if there were others who escaped.

Looking at the political realm in Israel (which is very similar to the one in the US), it’s easy to think that the majority isn’t being represented by the current government. However, as much as it may have been true at the time elections were held in both nations, a great and terrible erosion is taking place in the conservative camp in each country. While the liberal progressive left is holding its ground, it’s the conservative right that is experiencing progressive liberalism sprouting within its camp.

Why am I writing these words? Certainly not to make you feel sad or angry. But to make you open your eyes to the ever-changing world in which we live. The change is rapid and is not for good. The true believers will never “feel at home” again in this world. We are becoming strangers and vagabonds on this earth.

Can I find anything good in today’s world? Yes! Remember, it is often tribulations that purify us and make us zealous to carry out God’s will. But the best of all is the fact that the further we are estranged from this world the closer we are to the moment of the rapture! Indeed, let’s remember Jesus’ words and rejoice:

John 16:33 KJV – “These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.”

The "Great Reset": A Blueprint for Destroying Freedom, Innovation, and Prosperity - by J.B. Shurk – https://www.gatestoneinstitute.org/18825/great-reset-wef

How do nations become wealthy? Many are blessed with abundant natural resources. Others conquer foreign lands. Some specialize in unique trade skills and crafts. Timber, mining, fishing, sugar, rum, narcotics, cotton, silk, agriculture, conquest, human slavery, manufacturing, oil, industry, banking, and so on — depending on the century and the region, nations have attained tremendous wealth in myriad ways. Notice that no nation has managed merely to print money and tax its citizens on the path to prosperity. Real wealth cannot simply be conjured from thin air. There must be recognized value in what a nation and its citizens possess.

More than any other source for national wealth, however, one towers above the rest: innovation. The ability of the human mind to create something new and valuable provides society with endless wealth creation. Unlike central bank quantitative easing and other monetary tools (or tricks?), the brain really is a money-printing machine. Whether an innovator alters existing farming, mining, or manufacturing techniques to make production cheaper and more efficient, or an inventor designs something entirely unique, value that did not exist yesterday materializes the next. Innovation is the magic sauce for generating wealth.

If innovation produces wealth, why aren't all nations wealthy? Because too many nations fail to value innovators or encourage innovation. Without fundamental property rights, strong social institutions, and a dependable legal system, potential inventors have few incentives to build anything new. Humans struggling merely to survive in the world do not waste time, labor, or resources on projects that offer no prospect for future reward. Humans working as servants to the state under centrally controlled economies have no incentive to innovate. Only when private ownership and personal liberty combine can human innovation flourish. Freedom is the secret ingredient to innovation's magic sauce for increasing wealth.

When economists crunch gross domestic product numbers to see whether a nation's economy is rising or sinking, a measure of innovation becomes quantifiable. Embedded within that number is something that encapsulates human ingenuity, personal freedom, and property ownership. In this way, economic innovation directly reflects the human condition at any point in time. It provides a measurement of a nation's freedom.

Now "liberalism" as it is classically understood — as a political philosophy embracing natural rights, limited government, free markets, political and religious freedoms, and freedom of speech, all promoted and protected by an impartial and just rule of law — has always grasped this fundamental truth. Liberty and property rights spawn creativity. Where both are soundly valued, great writers, artists, and inventors produce novelties that would not otherwise exist. It is why medieval Florence birthed at once both modern-day banking and the European Renaissance. The personal freedom to create, build, invest, and own property generates tremendous innovation and national wealth.

Conversely, when today's central planners argue for socialized control over markets and the substitution of "collective rights" in place of "individual rights" while calling their agenda "progressive liberalism," they co-opt and subvert liberalism's historic meaning.

From this recognition that a nation's freedom directly affects a nation's wealth arises an even more remarkable truth: any nation that fails to embrace and protect human liberty will be the poorer for it. A country whose institutions do not respect property rights or whose customs do not value freedom will remain a barren desert for human innovation. In this way, nations have a great incentive to liberalize over time. Should they not, they quickly become financially and militarily vulnerable to more innovative and wealthier nations. Observing this simple truth, classical liberals have always understood free markets as the gateway to human emancipation. Economic self-interest, in other words, ultimately leads to expansive human rights and liberties across the planet.

Now with all that as a bit of rudimentary background, how is it that today we have entities such as the World Economic Forum (WEF) pushing for a radical "Great Reset" of Western society that promises to handcuff free markets with economic regulation while concentrating power into the hands of a small international coalition of central economic planners — most notably their own? How could promising a future where people will "own nothing and be happy" possibly be conducive to a free and productive society — or even a happy one? How can a future in which all energy is controlled by international governing bodies and multinational corporations possibly provide individuals with the institutional building blocks for endless innovation? How can farmers sustain larger and more prosperous populations when Western governments continue to stifle agricultural production through regulation and eminent domain?

The questions answer themselves. The WEF's agenda promotes radically anti-liberal programs such as the use of artificial intelligence to censor dissent, regulate free speech, and even erase ideas from the Internet. Its repressive efforts to control all hydrocarbon energy and cattle and crop farm production will smother human innovation by first depriving Westerners of their ability to create, invent, and grow food. Its policies betray millennia of Western civilizational advancement by replacing respect for individual choice and free will with top-down management of human activity through the blunt instruments of force and coercion. Its motivations are indisputably anti-human at their core because each individual human life is treated as nothing more than a cog or input that can be manipulated as part of a centrally-controlled social machine. When Westerners are reduced to ones and zeroes that are sorted and shifted by the WEF's social programming codes for a "better future," builders obey but no longer create.

Whereas personal liberty has unleashed the human mind and generated tremendous Western prosperity, the World Economic Forum's push for a centrally controlled economic system will crush rights, stifle creativity, and mass-produce poverty and servitude. Its proponents, in fact, seem mostly committed to using a combination of pandemic, famine, and fear to centralize dominance for themselves.

In order to persuade Westerners to give up more and make do with less, the WEF and its globalist allies promise Westerners a future Utopia. As with every similar lie ever told to justify the extraordinary acquisition of power, though, they will fail to deliver. No society, after all, was ever promised more than in Stalin's 1936 Constitution of the USSR — or subsequently treated more abysmally. Despite its claims to the contrary, the WEF's mission directives intentionally reverse Western trends toward greater human freedom, social mobility, and more broadly obtainable wealth — or what, in another era, would have been rightly regarded as true, liberal progress.

Although the WEF and its sister organizations claim to be "saving the planet," their efforts seem primarily an ignoble design to control the planet. "Clean" energy, after all, is controlled energy; and the more that energy is controlled by centralized governments, the more completely once-free markets become centrally controlled. If every potential entrepreneur must first receive permission to use electricity before producing anything new, then no entrepreneur can thrive without the central authorities' blessing. If all manufacturing is viewed as a "threat to the planet," then no independent upstart can innovate or build wealth without first seeking and obtaining government approval. If consumers are forbidden from buying anything unless it is first pre-approved, then free markets are transformed into controlled markets.

Taking this trend to its logical yet communist conclusion, private property becomes antithetical to the state's goals. We already see the ominous subversion of private ownership today with so-called ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance) standards used to strong-arm industry goals and manipulate free markets. Because control over information makes control over markets more manageable, the more economic uncertainty that results from market manipulation, the more censorship we'll continue to see. Recently, even a senior economist who correctly stated that the American economy had entered into a recession found his research "fact checked" and "corrected" by the U.S. government's friends at Facebook. Where free markets are under attack, free speech is inevitably under attack, too. The individual blessings of liberalism are not easily dissected from the body politic without inevitably rendering liberalism's death, as a whole.

The issue today may be "climate change" or COVID-19 or "sustainable food supplies," but the stated issue never seems anything more than a public relations campaign for fooling the masses. It always appears to be merely a disposable excuse designed to seduce Westerners into handing a small cabal of "elites" power and control over everyone else. Convincing mankind to believe that free markets will inevitably lead to some kind of apocalypse increasingly looks like the only policy goal that matters. It may well be the most diabolical trick those with power have ever played against those with no power at all. Fear is used expertly as a torturer's tool to convince Westerners to forsake willingly their own freedom. The innocent mantra whispered into their ears is simple: Trust us, humanity, we will save you. The implication, however, is far more sinister: For your own good, you must be made to enjoy your new chains.

Notice that for the World Economic Forum to succeed in its mission to control all human activity, it must first destroy the sovereignty of nation states. Why? Because, as noted above, liberal nations that embrace freedom of speech, freedom of thought, and free market entrepreneurship foster innovation and great wealth. Any nation not encumbered by the WEF's market proscriptions will most likely continue to prosper, while those shackled to the "Great Reset" will most likely languish. This is why Western politicians have worked so hard together to push their "Build Back Better" proposals irrespective of the wishes of any one nation's voting citizens.

Wealthy free nations are a threat to the WEF's New World Order. If censorship must be embraced to control the "narrative," then so be it. If citizens must be denied freedom of movement under the guise of a "health emergency," no big deal. If private bank accounts must be seized to intimidate protesters, then such threats are the price for ensuring compliance. In this way, the WEF's plans for a controlled economy intentionally reverse centuries of liberal progress. Political leaders today are dragging the West into the past.

First, individual liberties will continue disappearing. Then, the greatest economic engine of all, innovation, will dry up. Finally, wealth will return solely to the hands of a small "ruling class" minority. This is the future the World Economic Forum hails as "progress." It is not. It is a recipe for human bondage.

What If the Rapture Doesn't Happen Soon? - by Bill Perkins - https://compass.org/what-if-the-rapture-doesnt-happen-soon/

PTL! We had an outstanding trip to Europe to watch the every-ten-year Oberammergau Passion Play. The five-hour play, using only unpaid local cast members, was excellent in every way. The music was as impacting as Phantom of the Opera's! And it was an incredible privilege to travel with such an amazing group of people!

We also were able to spread the Word about the coming Rapture of the Church in Munich and nearby cities in Germany, plus in Vienna, Austria, Budapest, Hungary, and Bratislava, Slovakia.

May the Lord use our effort to reach these people before or after the Rapture!

While we were gone, a lot has happened. Our biggest concern upon returning was that VIMEO, our paid video supplier for our free Compass TV videos, terminated our platform without explanation.

Well, their official explanation was that we violated some vague language in their rules but they would not give us any specific examples. Those who pull the strings are still doing everything they can to shut out any truth proclaimed on the Internet. We're now busy reloading some 300 Steeling the Mind Conference videos on Rumble to link to our compass.org website.

So, trying to be smart how we do the eNews, we're not publishing ANYTHING on our Constant Contact platform. We’ll just send a notice with a link to the latest eNews on our website. I THINK that will suffice for now. Everyone will just read the eNews on Compass.org instead of clicking links in an email. This is our first try so there may be some glitches!

Trust me, it’s a big chore for us to put the eNews directly on our website. It’s like learning a new language. In my jet-lag brain-fog the first eNews I created was mostly finished before I discovered that, unlike Constant Contact, it doesn’t auto-save anything. Poof, gone forever. Had to start again from scratch. 🙁

Boy, the point was driven home, like my first eNews draft, you’re either saved or not—it doesn't matter if I did a good job or not, if I don't save it, it's gone forever, no hope of recovery.

Anyone with 1/2 a brain cell understands that eternity is a long time and it's eternally important whether you're saved, going to heaven, not hell. Most people reading this get that.

But interestingly we've now got the whole world scared of dying. People wear masks, get va((ines, stand six feet apart, even divide families over their va((ine status. Yet they don't pursue Biblical salvation.

They have no clue that the eternal life they seek, having the credentials to go to heaven when this life ends, have already been freely provided. Instead, they're concentrating on this life, not the next.

Set your mind on the things above, not on the things that are on earth. Col. 3:2

Our goal in life is not to survive as long as possible in fear of death. Rather, it’s to serve the Lord by being used in the lives of those around us, knowing that our days have already been numbered.

When given the chance to witness in Europe for the last three weeks, the usual response was a blank stare. They couldn’t connect the dots. God did give us some incredible spiritually hungry people to talk to, but mostly we were content to plant seeds for the future and pray God will water the effort.

I planted, Apollos watered, but God was causing the growth. 1Cor. 3:6

Understandably, even post-Rapture salvation in the long-run is what counts in the end. The only thing that really matters in this life is who goes to heaven and who goes to hell. Everything else pales in comparison.

Everyone will stand before a righteous God who judges on truth, not lies. I wish those people at VIMEO the best when they stand before a righteous God. Same for Fauxi, Clinton, Hunter, Soros, etc.

Another thing that’s really interesting that began happening while we were gone is the change in the government’s Covid narrative. Think about it, don’t you think it’s strange that at the same time Fauxi announces his resignation the CDC wants to overhaul/restructure the department due to its “inadequate response to Covid?”(1)

Maybe the proverbial poop is about to hit the fan. It’s possible that all the data that the CDC has been admittedly hiding(2) can’t be hidden much longer. Back in February 2022 the CDC admitted they were not releasing all they knew about the va((ines because “the public might misinterpret the info.” Hmmm….

Let’s see, we know people are dying from the va((ine, both short and long term, from a plethora of health reasons. The CDC has gone from "A pandemic of the unva((inated" to now saying natural immunity is the same or better than the shots.(3)

They’re now having to come clean and admit the gene therapies wane after a few weeks and that masks don’t work. It seems that their whole purpose of pushing the va((ines has collapsed.

So is Fauxi the fall guy? Or is it something deeper? I must say it gives us great hope that if the Rapture doesn’t happen by October, there is the possibility of flipping the House and/or the Senate. Is this what they’re positioning for? Is all this change just to cover their butts?

If that’s the case, the Satanists/Globalists apparently are content to set into motion as much death and destruction in the world as possible in their two years of having free reign to do as they wish.

But let’s face the facts, the Rapture is set up nicely for this fall. As prophesied, the whole world is being drugged (Rev 18:23), a huge Middle East war could start at any time (Ezek. 38/39), massive food shortages/starvation is in place (Rev. 6:8), and the Mark of the Beast is being promoted(4). So it’s not a stretch to see how billions of people could die in the next few years.

The Globalists/Satanists control the media, banking, higher learning, most of the large companies in the world and all world governments. The Globalists/Satanists are poised to immediately take over a starving and thirsty world.

On the other hand, if the Rapture happens soon, and it certainly may, all of your and my personal problems will be immediately solved. There are many who are saying it WILL happen...but no one knows for sure.

So if the Rapture doesn't happen this year, don’t be disappointed! We’ll just rest in the fact that God’s timetable has given us more opportunities to reach our family, friends and coworkers with the simple truth that God’s wrath is at the world’s doorstep.

God will want to use us to tell people that you can escape from His coming horrific wrath by receiving eternal salvation—which is free—if you simply BELIEVE the gospel.

“For this is the will of My Father, that everyone who beholds [acknowledges] the Son and believes in Him will have eternal life...” John 6:40a

For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes, Rom. 1:16

So while we wait on His rescue, use the time to plant Gospel seeds with the lost when God opens a door.

...and to await for His Son from heaven, whom He raised from the dead, that is Jesus, who rescues us from the wrath to come. 1Th. 1:10

He saved us, not on the basis of deeds which we have done in righteousness, but according to His mercy, by the washing of regeneration and renewing by the Holy Spirit, whom He poured out upon us richly through Jesus Christ our Savior, so that being justified by His grace we would be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life. Titus 3:5-7

Daily Jot: The Farm Chronicles: A baking lesson – Bill Wilson – www.dailyjot.com

My mother’s pies and cakes were something of a farm boy’s dessert fantasy. That buttery crust. Those taste-explosive cherries, apples, peaches—I can remember them all as if I were sitting under the shade of the old oak tree next to the house, gazing over the pastureland with the cows grazing and the horses standing nose to tail swatting each others’ flies under the blue skies, savoring that last bite of pie. Really, even as a scrawny little boy that preferred to eat nothing but hamburgers, I could put away one of my mother’s fruit pies in one sitting. Nothing like riding the bike up the driveway and catching a whiff of that wonderful pie-out-of-the-oven smell drifting in the breeze from the kitchen window. But it wasn’t always that way.

When Mom and Dad married, she didn’t have any idea what she was getting into. Dad’s mother was killed in a car accident when he was ten. He and my grandfather had lived at the farm as bachelors since that time. Mom’s description of the place when she told the story of coming “home” after she and Dad eloped—she was 17 and he was 23—even after nearly 50 years of marriage, was quite vivid. The floors were unkept, there were empty tin cans mixed in among the clothes that were laying around the old house. Trash was just thrown outside the window. She was aghast. My mother was a neatnik to the extreme, so she set her mind on making that 130-year-old farm house her HOME. And that she did, quickly erasing some 13 years without the presence of a homemaker amidst two farmers lacking any home-economic skills.

As one of her first acts as a good wife and homemaker, my mother baked my dad a surprise apple pie. It was his favorite. She meticulously prepared the apples and rolled the crust. She spent hours preparing this pie, putting the crust on top and making sure that the dough was crimped just right along the edges. She perforated the crust with a beautiful pattern and set it in the oven. When the pie came out, it was absolutely picture perfect. That night at dinner, Dad’s eye looked past the plate before him as he sized up that perfect looking apple pie made by his perfect bride. Soon dinner was finished and the time had come for the pie. Dad patiently waited for Mom to dish out the first piece. Then he dug in. And just when the tender fruit and lightly browned crust hit his taste buds, he spit out the first bite, nearly choking from the taste.

Mom’s countenance sank. She put all her heart into that pie and Dad spit it out like a bitter poison. Mortified, Mom took a fork and grabbed up a bite. She, too, had to spit it out. Now, Dad’s old coon hound Jack would eat anything. They dumped that pie into Jack’s bowl and he just sniffed it and walked away. Not even Jack. You see, unbeknownst to Mom, Grandpa or Dad had carelessly filled the sugar container with salt. As is written in Proverbs 17:1, “Better a dry crust eaten in peace than a house filled with feasting and conflict.” Here is a case where the salty crust that not even the dog would eat, brought embarrassment first, then a house filled with laughter as the story of Mom’s baking lesson was repeated even to this day. But she never repeated using salt for sugar.

Daily Devotion: Removing the Sting - by Greg Laurie – www.harvest.org

O death, where is your victory? O death, where is your sting? —1 Corinthians 15:55

Have you ever been stung by a bee? It’s not a fun experience. But although it’s painful for the person being stung, it’s fatal for the bee.

When a honeybee stings a person, it can’t pull its little barbed stinger back out. This is a one-time experience for them. They had better think carefully about who they are going to sting, because once they do it, they are not going to survive.

When a bee stings you, not only is the bee’s stinger left in you but also part of its abdomen and digestive tract, as well as nerves and muscles. This massive abdominal rupture kills the bee shortly after it stings.

That is what happened when Jesus died on the cross. In his enduring hatred for God’s Son, Satan thought it would be a great idea to have Jesus betrayed, arrested, beaten within an inch of His life, and then crucified and put to death on a Roman cross. The devil said, “This is my moment. I am going to sting Him. I will have a role in His death. When He dies, that is the end of Him.” Everything went according to Satan’s plan, and like a bee, he flew off thinking he had succeeded.

But everything went according to God’s plan as well, and the sting of death was its own defeat. As 1 Corinthians 15:54–55 says, “Death is swallowed up in victory. O death, where is your victory? O death, where is your sting?”

Where is the sting of death for the believer? It is ripped out, because at the cross, Jesus took the stinger out of death. This is a great truth. As Christians, we no longer need to fear death because our souls will live on forever with Christ.
